Not sure if it's just this particular laptop or if HP has unreliable products but there is a problem with the hardware right out of the box. Screen was blinking and some lines come on the screen intermittently. When I called HP help line they ran tests and said there is a problem with device hardware and I need to send it back but that I would have to pay for shipping. They send a defective laptop and I have to pay return shipping? Really? When I asked why they said I should have called sooner. I just got it! Very poor customer service and worthless product.

Have not had it for to long, but it is hold up better then my last laptop.

It was hard to get it to print to a printer and takes forever to boot up

This computer doesn't stay connected to wireless and freezes up frequently

Good for minor tasks, slower, serves purpose of homework for my child

It's good if you just need to do basic things!! It works well otherwise..

I purchased this for my daughter for school and it was the worst investment. The mouse has to be touched in the exact spot slowing you down tremendously, also it is so slow and freezes more than runs. I will never purchase another HP again!

Hard to get mouse to move without spitting on your finger. Noisy keys. Hard to get things on desktop. Have to go online to learn how to use which is not correct sometimes. Now it stopped working and won't boot up. Back to the store.

Just what looking for.and the price was reasonable. And satisfactory.

Bought this for my husband to finish his last two class for school

The service at Best Buy is AWESOME!, I only wish I could say the same for this laptop. I purchased 2 of these the same day (one for my wife and one for myself). One laptop was D.O.A. out of the box the other one I fought for several hours to get through setup. I took the DOA one back and they exchanged it for another and even made sure it worked. Sadly after a couple days though both were having so many issues I returned both of them. They have many great product to choose from I would just stay away from this one. I would have bought two more DIFFERENT ones that day but Spencer (The gentleman that helped me before) was gone that day.

does what I needed from a pc, nothing special but it works fine.

This definitely a great computer for a new beginner.

Computer was awful. Slow as snails. Took it back, got another model HP and it has issues after having it three weeks. HP laptops have plunged in quality. A two week return policy is not long enough to evaluate a computer.

It does what I want and I can use it for my schooling online!

Overall a good computer, good for email And word processing.

no frills, no ligth in front to see if on. Keys seem cheap
