Having trouble installing the internet security cd

Computer runs slow but price wise .............ok.

This laptop is very basic. HP savesd money by not even providing a power on light indicator. The processor is slow from the get-go. Have not stayed on it long enough to determine if battery life is good. If your needs are simple and basic this is the one.

The keyboard was Hard and unresponsive. I looked up from typing and there was hardly anything there . You had to press the keys very hard and sometimes you had to hit the keys three or four times before it would respond. That was enough for me. It was cheaply made. But you cant expect much for the price paid. However I expected it to work. Spend a few more bucks and get something you will be happy with.

I bought the computer to work at an online job and it won't download the software that I need. It made me remove ma afee. Antivirus. And install another one and now it says that one will expire

Cover is made of plastic that doesn't protect very well, Had lap top less than10 days, key board problem, soft ware problems Forced to purchase a $70.00 support plan before the geek squad worked on it. two days later the problem started again. Too many small problems. Save your money!

If I had the box still I would return it. Now it just sits and collects dust. Never had anything this slow before its terrible. I'm so mad I don't have the box to return it

This is the worst laptop I have ever dealt with. Every time I attempt to log on I have to reset my internet settings. Just recently, this laptop has crashed and I cannot get past the automatic repair screen. Best Buy need to take this thing off the shelf and I don't think I will purchase another HP product again.

This computer would b great if the Microsoft worked on it! Can't get it to open up for anything! I need word for paper work and it won't open up ! I do a lot of work on my computer but it don't work at all

I should have done my homework before purchasing this computer. It was just not for me. It was so slow that it was maddening. I returned it and got a bigger processor. I bought another HP and it is fine.

If I had to do it again, I wouldn't have chosen this computer. It's great for kids and just messing around but for serious adults with real technological needs, this is not for you.

I spent a couple days researching for a laptop around $250 and ended up with a few options at hand. In the end, the battle in my head was between an ASUS with the same price range (maybe 15 bucks cheaper than this HP), same screen size and ram memory. The processor was a duo core INTEL with no graphics (UMA), while this HP can afford graphics and provide a quad core AMD that can heads up and even surpass that INTEL in most areas. First impression out of the box was good, slim design not too shabby. Installation took a few minutes (had me worried there) but then again not that much, I have a supped up gaming tower with crazy high end spec parts and so I knew it would feel slow. To my surprise, it was only slow through the initial installation process and after 6 hours of customizing and getting to know windows 10 (yes, I was skeptical) I can say comfortably that it's smooth. Starts up within seconds, no delay when opening/starting applications. I'll be using this mainly for school work. A lot of web browsing, microsoft office tools, pdfs and visual studio 2015. With that said, that's the reason why I'm rating this purchase a 5 star, It runs all of that at once if necessary. it's one of the cheapest brand new 15'6inch screen laptops with decent specs out there and as long as you're realistic, you'll be happy. I'm sure you won't find this a 5 star buy if you try to play FIFA16 or other crazy graphical games although I'm thinking it would play games around league of legends tier without a problem. By the way, the very first thing I did after the laptop first initiated was remove all the bookmarked shortcuts and some software (application, w/e they want to call it now), that included both the internet security and the anti virus (I take my chances with the firewall and adblockers, plus a little knowledge for confidence) and maybe this could be the reason it's working so smoothly for me?

I do not care for this laptop at all. It will not stay connected to a wireless network, it acts like the wireless device turns on and off at random. It is running windows 10 and I get random critical errors that shut the computer down. Not happy at all!

Computer is slow for email. Browsers often stop responding and require Ctrl Alt Del

The internet driver stopped working three times and was updated by the Geek Squad the last time. I don't really trust it and hope it doesn't happen again.

Laptop is what you pay for. I had issues with the sound when streaming. And it's performance does lag. I didn't expect too much for what I paid.

This budget laptop is exactly what you should expect. Cheap parts that will not last long. This is just a side computer for me. So I wasnt too much.

I hate windows 10. It is hard to work with and is not as easy to use as windows 8. I put the new laptop back in the box and using my old laptop.

Within a year of purchasing this, the charger plug in somehow broke and I was told that the warranty would not cover the repair.

Has trouble opening explorer --very sluggish. Would not recommend using if you plan on actually having your laptop perform an task
