I found this on the return rack at an excellent price however I returned it due to being soooo sloooow!

I have to take it back and find out why when I'm typing it's not showing up on the screen

The PC works very good, none of the problems seen in other reviews This is my first use of WIN 10 and it is a very good OS. trust me I know 95, XP, VISTA, WIN7, WIN8 fully The only reason for 4 stars is I can't see why they put the indicator lights on the right side and out of view, Not very smart

This laptop looses it's battery charge quickly. Would not recommend.

Good CPU. Good build quality for a value PC. Easily replaceable pop-out battery. Less bloatware than some PCs. NO PROMO STICKERS plastered all over it !! There are many laptops for sale at higher prices that have lower performing CPUs. This is a good value with good performance. Boots up in 25 seconds. NOTE - Requires registry entry to prevent touchpad options from resetting every time Windows gets updated: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install Note this is LOCAL MACHINE, not CURRENT USER. Look for a key in that Install folder called DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade Double click and change the value to 0.

Recently, I visited a local Best Buy store and purchased this new HP Laptop for my personal use. I researched this very affordable, reliable, and easy to use laptop on the company's website prior to completing the transaction. It has been truly a fun and enjoyable experience with my new laptop. I am having fun with Cortana which is the new assistant that is integrated into the Windows 10 based Microsoft Edge Internet browser. Speak a command and Cortana does a quick and fantastic job performing tasks and research for you painlessly. I believe that the overall slim and contemporary design of the HP laptop and the keyboard which includes a side numerical keypad to the left are elegant. The visuals are stunning and in crisp HD quality. The computer performs well and I am happy. I am still amazed when I bought my first HP laptop back in 2008, it was slightly bigger and it was for $750! Today, this new computer that I bought from Best Buy and now own is much better, remarkably lighter and slimmer, and it was under $300 bucks! Superb value, reliable, easy to use, and it's a pleasure to have to work with Word, multimedia projects including movies, music, and surfing the Web. Also, this HP laptop has a DVD/CD drive and one does not have to purchase such a drive separately like my coworker would have to do because his new DELL laptop/tablet hybrid does not have a DVD/CD drive. I'm ecstatic that I have everything that I wanted from my HP laptop!

Slowest computer I've ever purchased. Wish I could exchange it.

Laptop not working. Window not coming up. The product is faulty

Pros: Great speed, easy to use, stable. Cons: Windows 10, and the back cover was hard to remove for upgrades. I brought this laptop, and so far it has been great. I was able to replace the hard drive with an ssd drive, and also put in 8 gigs of ram. I installed Ubuntu on the laptop, and it has been stable and fast. Laptop was a great buy for the price!

This laptop is very good for just the casual person. I myself just use to surf the web and watch netflix and I have zero issues with it. For the price, this is a very good laptop and affordable.

A solid purchase. It runs slightly slower than I'd like and I'm not the biggest fan of the trackpad's texture design. But everything else is great and works as stated. A good fully functional laptop for the most part.

I bought this laptop to play warframe and other ftp fps on steam and i got what i paid for. Pretty good machine for the price. Runs the games i needed to play smoothly and netflix works without a hassle. If you're looking for high end gaming this isn't for you. But overall a great buy. Keyboard feels good, the screen size is wonderful.

I've had this laptop for almost a month. Overall, I love this laptop. Its fast and easy to use. The only issue I'm having is it turning on. I use this laptop for work. Every morning when I press the power button, it will not turn on. I have to press it down a few times for a good 2 to 3 minutes by the time it turns on. Once it turns on, everything else works perfectly fine.

I have been using this laptop for a few weeks now and I have loved it. I use it for school work, watching videos online, and light gaming. The on board graphics card is supplied well enough to play games like world of warcraft on their lowest setting at around 30 fps (frame per second). I have had some slight problems with the operating system hanging up on a couple things, such as the Cortana feature. This doesn't affect me too much because I don't ever use the Cortana feature more than to pretty much use it as the windows 7 search bar. Yes, I may have had these problems, but even after loading half the hard drive with games and other files, the computer still works fine with minimal hang ups when actually using software. I have not seen many of the problems that I had read, going through these reviews. There is one gripe that I have with this computer though, it's nothing that is a make or break, it was just something that I had to get used to. The F-keys are all bound weirdly than what I am used to. Instead of pressing fn then f6 to mute my computer, you just have to tap the f6 button to mute the computer. This is something that, as a gamer myself, was kinda weird to get used too. Other than that, the touchpad is one of the nicest that I have used, even though it has a slight mushy feeling to the left and right mouse buttons. The keyboard is spaced out nicely and has a nice feel to it. I would recommend this computer to many people who are new to windows or computers in general, or a nice alternate to your main pc that you use on a daily basis.
