Very light and powerful. Does everything I need to and runs extremely smooth. Bought it for my mom so she could work from home and she absolutely loves it. It makes the new windows OS easy to use as well.

Good price for a laptop that will be used by college student. This laptop is replacing a Dell that was purchased for student leaving for college. Lots of trouble with that machine and needed to be replaced after 2 years. Schools are doing most things online now so this machine is more than adequate for those needs.

I use this computer mostly for work. Its fast enough, has great storage and an all around great buy for what you get. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because the screen is not all that bright and a little difficult to see if there a possibility of glare.

I bought two of these laptops for my two girls before school started. These laptops have been perfect for checking e-mail, surfing the web, and working on homework assignments. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable laptop for doing everyday things on.

I read all the reviews but still was not sure which Laptop to choose for me. I finally picked what sounded like it best suited my needs and I was right. I love this laptop! it meets all my requirements and has worked perfectly. It was easy to setup and handy to transport. I could not be more pleased. In fact, I may be purchasing a second one for a gift.

The laptop works perfectly for my assignments for college courses. It also has a lot of memory and storage space. It's easy to manage and work with for beginners.

My old computer died suddenly and this was the replacement. I use it mostly for email and surfing the web. If you are not a power user then this is the machine for you. It's a little one the slow side but I expected that. It serves my purposes just fine.

I recently purchased this laptop and I am satisfied with it. Affordable and does everything I need it to do. My only minor concern is the mouse is not as sensitive compared to previous laptops I've owned so I have to motion harder on the mouse.

I got this laptop to do school work on and it works great. It is not very good for programs such as Photoshop but it works very nice with Microsoft Office and basic internet usage. It is definitely a good laptop for the price.

the HP was priced low, offers everything I need on a computer like email, banking, internet and bill pay. Quick enough, compact, and screen size (15"6) is plenty large.

This laptop does not disappoint. For the price, I challenge you to find something better. The only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the RAM to 8GB. Other than that, the performance is good, and system looks nice.

This is a decent laptop for people on a budget. It seems more ergonomic than the Lenovo and Asus laptops I tried that were the same screen size. Boots up pretty fast, although I haven't installed a lot of programs.

Bought this laptop for my kid. Its great for him for using in school. Size is great and the weight I like a lot. It's built well and its fast for day to day school stuff. No complaints for the cost.

This computer is perfect for my needs as a grad student. I can write papers (Microsoft Office is sold separately), watch movies, etc. Compared to computers I've looked at elsewhere this is the best deal.

The hp laptop I bought recently for college courses. It came with a free upgrade to windows 10 and is perfect for what I need to do on it. It runs fast, had plenty of storage and it very easy to navigate through.

Three years ago, I needed a new laptop. I searched for a couple of months before pulling the trigger on this one by HP. It's done everything I need a computer to do. It has plenty of space for applications and I have stored more than 400 albums on it. The cost was under $300 so I'll never be able to complain about any limitations. It was a great buy for the money...even for a few hundred more.

Things I like about this lap top was the price and that its big and flat. The thing I don't like is that the battery life is only like 4.5 hours.

I'm not a gamer (unless you count playing Words With Friends on Facebook, ha ha), I don't care for touchscreen capable computers -- one more thing to break/stop working/to have to clean, and I don't watch movies on my laptop, just YouTube, occasionally. Therefore, this was the perfect, simple, thin, and relatively cheap laptop for me. If you're looking for a laptop for a casual user / web surfer, this is a really good option.
