I checked out the reviews for several laptops in my emergency price range and I chose this one despite the warnings from other buyers. My old laptop was a Lenovo with similar specs so I figured it couldn't be all bad. WRONG!! This laptop is sloooooow. I mean barely can surf the internet efficiently slow. Opening anything is painful. Don't get me wrong. If you're looking for a laptop to give to your kids, this is the right one for the job. If you're looking for a laptop for everyday use, look somewhere else please. I couldn't in good faith give this to a college student doing school work. Its just too slow.

However as a computer for use in the field it serves its purpose.

not aging well

Now, some 10 Windows updates later, it's slowing to a crawl. I've updated all the software, and run diagnostics. Nothing in the software seems to be the cause, so I'm guessing there's a hardware deficiency creating the issue.
