Run of the mill computer....

This does not really contain the computing power to run multiple windows or programs at the same time without lagging. this computer couldnt keep up with my typing with a couple of windows opened. Returned for a more powerful device.

Too slow

I manually upgraded to 8GB RAM (maximum the system allows) and it was a painful process to open up the computer- you actually have to pull off the glued-on bumpers on the bottom of the computer and mine ripped so I couldn't put them back completely. It is worth it to do the upgrade however ($40 for the memory card)-the speed is adequate now. However the next computer will not be an HP.

I was excited to finally get a new computer. I admit, I mainly bought it for the Memory because I always take tons of pictures that will be stored on my computer. But, I thought I would also be able to play a game or 2. Nothing big, mind you, just an online facebook game or 2. Well, I tried once and the game kept glitching and I could not use it. So, my Samsung 8+ is my go to for games. This is a fine computer for using the internet, if you don't mind a bit of lag.
