Yes, I understand that this isn't the most expensive or best model out there, but I have bought less expensive laptops in the past and have gotten FAR better performance than this model. It cannot run any of the Adobe apps that require video to be cut. Open multiple web pages, and they become non-responsive or slow. Glitches constantly. Overall, if ALL you want to do is simple web-browsing and email... this works semi-well. If you need to do anything more, this is not your investment.

This laptop is excellent for the price. Light weight excellent for school and work usage.

Unit has a built in cd rom writer/reader drive, plenty fast enough and sized right for all work.

It’s a really nice computer for school the screen is a little dim even on the brighter setting.

Bought looking for basic laptop. Was unhappy with the way Microsoft had it locked down. Could not add any non Microsoft programs with out having to get an extra license key. It was free but had to sign up

I can't believe I wasted the last five months with a laptop that doesn't have the same quality as my previous laptop which I had decided to switch back to as of late Christmas Night. I was preparing to do an update on it, but the for some reason, the screen went dark. And no matter how many times I tried to restart it, it just doesn't work. The truth is, if I had sense enough to know how bad my experience with this laptop would be, and send this laptop back when I bought it over five months ago, I would have done it in a heartbeat and gotten a full refund.

Computer is a great size. It responds quickly to commands. Perfect for creating lesson plans.
