This is the worst computer I have ever owned. Right out of the box it was slow and would crash every day. It also came with malware that I can't remove. I will try to return it in a few days. It is a piece of junk.

Died on me exactly ONE MONTH after purchase so I definitely would not recommend buying this or anything else made by HP. I’ve had nothing but trouble out of them since the early 2000’s.

I met with staff to help me choose dependable, decent storage so it would not slow down, and fast computer. The computer has been nothing but slow.

I was told it would be fine for browsing and playing games but it wasn’t. It took forever for anything to load and it didn’t even keep up with the emails I receive.

Not even a year and the hard drive crashed. Replaced the laptop and a few months later, the laptop stops turning on.

Don’t buy it’s very very very very very very very slow

First on I bought did not come on.Took back next day got another one quit working after 2 months

system fail after two months too slow even for browsing not good for any gaming purpose

One of my college courses required a laptop with 16GB RAM that had processor support to run Docker containers and my old laptop couldn't do it. I found this at bestbuy.com, on sale for $359. It only had 8GB but the specs said it was expandable to 16GB. I want over to the local Best Buy and they had it priced at $329. They didn't have an 8GB stick in stock so I had to order it online. Taking the back off the laptop was a pain and I was afraid I was going to break the case trying to pry it apart. But I got it in there and all is good now. In total, I spent about $420 including tax and I think that was pretty good for getting a 16GB laptop on short notice. Pros: - Expandable to 16GB Ram - Processor supports virtualization - Keyboard has number pad Cons: - Heavy - Battery life only about 3 hours, nowhere near the 7 hours advertised - Low resolution display

Out of ALL of the Laptops I have purchased this year, and returned, I found I would probably be keeping this one as it had Solid Windows Updates, which Dell and Lenova have demonstrated to me clearly that their PC just have problems in this area. Most I believe to be driver related as following updates their PC's demonstrate driver problems. And I am No big fan of HP but this little PC has not failed me yet. And I am very critical of all areas Video, Speed, Fan Noise, build of top for flexing etc. and this PC has demonstrated Solid Performance for me.

Love this laptop. Disappointed in the battery life I got 4.5 hrs instead of the advertised 7.5 hours. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that works great. Speed is really good picture quality good etc.

Its a great computer. Had it for yrs. And its stull running like a champ. Would definitely recommend

Purchased yesterday as wanted to upgrade to something larger than my Samsung Chromebook 11.6 screen. After doing some research decided to go to best buy and spoke to gentleman. He highly recommended this & also saw it received excellent reviews from current owners. Will have to adjust to using Windows program however it seems rather simply to learn. Only had it for little over 24 hrs but think will like it. Seems to be a great computer for my needs. Will update if anything changes.

I bought this laptop for my wife for Christmas and it is perfect for what she needs it for. She typically uses it for small picture projects and searching the web. My son also uses it for his school learning programs. I have not tried to run my programs such as AutoCad and equivalent programs but for an everyday laptop, this is a great buy.

I love this compared to the cheaper one at 239...way faster and smoother good for multitasking...thanks again david.....and elizabeth...you both made my trip enjoyable.

This works great for internet cruising and watching a movie in bed, have had zero issues with it.

After a lot of research, I got this computer and really like it. Since it was so cheap i also bought a 500 GB SSD ($70) to put in and it runs great. I put in a 2.5 SSD but it does have an empty M.2 slot if you want to keep the original hard drive. There is also an extra ram slot too if down the road I want to upgrade that too. The only problem is the accidental zoom when you are scrolling. I saw other people complain about this too so I'll probably try to disable it. The buttons on the touch pad r also a little stiff but I usually use a mouse so not a big deal.

Reliable product. Battery life not the greatest when in use.

I bought this computer for a dual boot machine for Windows and Linux. This HP has a M2 slot for a second drive. I was going to replace the HDD with a SSD but the HDD is plenty responsive for what I want. This is my second Ryzen computer. No software issues.
