Purchase this laptop for my son who's a college freshman. Good laptop for college student.

The only things that I don't care for on this computer are the lack of indicator lights on the caps lock and number lock keys it annoying not knowing when they are on or off.

Very helpful salesman- needed basic laptop for work within certain budget. This was it!

As expected. Good solid laptop for basics. Only had for a few weeks, no issues so far.

I bought this new HP laptop because the logic board went bad on my old HP laptop. After one day of nonstop struggling with it I took it back to the store and paid $300 to have my old one fixed. The computer was a complete piece of ****. It loaded web pages so slow I might as well have been using dial up. I still have an ancient Dell desktop that runs Windows XP (doesn't have enough RAM to upgrade to a more recent version) and it loads pages faster! Also, the HP clogged up my wifi with so much garbage even when it was just sitting there that I couldn't even run apps on my phone! I don't know if it was Windows 10 or whatever pre-loaded software HP put on this thing, I probably could have sped it up by disabling some applications, but where do I start? Trial and error? Seriously, a brand new computer should not perform poorer than a 12-year-old one. And... it wouldn't even boot up when the battery was still at 50% charge, I had to connect the power cord.

Thought I was buying a fast laptop but soon found that it was the slowest one I've ever owned. Boot up is incredibly slow. Scroll pad was jumpy and erratic. Was frustrating to use and regretted purchasing it. Decided to trade it in and purchased a chromebook instead, which I'm extremely happy with.
