Useless restrictions

The salesperson did mention that it was used by students and you couldn’t download some apps - I said I was planning on gambling or going on x-rated sites. He just laughed. I’d already had it for over a month before I realized you can’t download some of the most common programs, like Adobe Acrobat. Unrelated to age requirements! There is supposed to be a way to disable this restriction, which I am nervous to try but am going to have to. You can’t download or scan any pdf documents as is. Makes no sense! In terms of display, seems ok. It uses Microsoft 360 - not loving it, ads often block what you are trying to read

No Adapter cord

think twice!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My first laptop was hp pavilion BOUGHT BACK IN 2008 IT LAST ABOUT 12 -13 YEARS AND DURING THIS TIME I CHANGED 3 TIMES ONLY CHARGER, EVERYTHING ELSE WAS WORKING PERFECTY FINE. AFTER THAT I WAS USING MAC BOOK PRO FOR LONG TIME . SO NOW I WAS LOOKING FOR HP AGAIN FOR MY KIDS ,THINKING THAT IT CAN LAST LONGER BUT AS SOON AS I TEST IT I'LL BE HONEST SEEMS LIKE THIS PRODUCT WON'T LAST EVEN 3 YEARS WITHOUT ANY ISSUE. One star for battery + front camera + audio. everything else is very good. Bought on sale for about 600$ . I think to return it back.

Poor defaults in set up

Of course, no mention of this in packaging, etc. This caused major frustration in trying to set up the computer and was quite difficult to work around for a non techy person.
