Have had constant issues with this unit. Partly being Windows 10, had to have HD replaced just a few weeks ago, and now it crashes again. Have not loaded this one up like others used since earlier 90's units but this Junk can't even run unloaded! Not happy at all!

Sometimes have to reboot in order to finish the task.

Would not connect to internet or stay connected. Found complaints about the same problem from other purchasers/users. Returned within the 14 day "return policy" and received a full credit for my purchase.

I RETURNED THIS LAPTOP AND PURCHASED A MAC BOOK PRO.

Not key-stroke friendly. Very basic and cumbersome

Returned computer because screen turned black and I could not log on. I was told that it was a problem with this model and was given an exchange for another HP computer without touch screen. I didn't want the same model and experience the same problem.

Computer very slow. Freezes at times. Internet explorer stops working for a few minutes. Sometimes tells me 'site not responding'. Best Buy tried to fix it. All they did is set it back to factory standards. Didn't make any difference.

I have the ultimate speed I can get for spectrum internet but have never had a computer so slow to connect to internet.. sometimes as long as 10-15 minutes.. beginning to think we got a lemon and should of went to the Apple store

I've only had the laptop since the end of November. Unfortunately, I just found that two of the three USB ports don't work. The nearest BestBuy store is nearly one hour away. It's going to be a while till this is remedied.

Didn't discover until I used online (after the 15 day return period) that computer was loaded with corrupted Windows software. HP only covers hardware under the warranty. Needed to buy the service plan to have it corrected.

I bought this laptop on 6/3/16 at my local best buy. The laptop itself is not made of the greatest material and build quality will not win any awards but the hardware is really good for the money. The new AMD a10 9600p is equivalent to Intel's i5 6th gen. This processor will do anything and everything you need it to do minus heavy gaming (this is NOT a gaming laptop but can be used for playing smaller less strenuous games ) For school this is perfect not too heavy and easily portable. The battery life is what you would expect from a laptop at this price lasted me about 3 hours of Internet use. Overall not the highest end laptop money can buy but definitely worth what you pay

Had it 3 days, computer ran 3 updates and they failed. Tried again 2 days later still wouldn't update. Had other software issues. After 7 days I returned it. Best Buy was great about it, ended up buying a different one

Computer updates every time you turn it on. If you need to use the computer turn make sure you turn it on about a hour before you need it. I thought HP was a good quality computer but it just an expensive paper weight.

Not sure whether it was our bad luck or the refurbished laptops were faulty. 3 units conked-off within 1 month of purchase. Had to return them for refund. Keeping fingers crossed with the other 3 units in my office.

I bought this computer (after being warned by the salesperson that it wasn't a good one). It froze up repeatedly so I exchanged it and the second one did the same.

I really tried to wait a week to test out the laptop before making this review... But one thing bugged me so much - the battery life! The laptop overall is great. I am a college student so it does its job. I bought this at the sale price $350. and its a decent price considering how much memory there is. The design is nice and the laptop is fairly light. However, the battery life is a no go. It was charged at 100% and it only gave me about two hours. If buying an extra battery doesn't bother you, then this laptop fits that criteria. But if you're looking for something that's long lasting, for on the go needs, and you aren't the type of person to switch to different products often... I suggest looking at a different product.

This laptop runs like it has a celeron processor or older. I have a laptop that is 7 yrs old (at least) that will run circles around this machine. I will never buy another machine with AMD processors in it!

This morning I attempted to turn it on and it will not start. I am not happy with the slow speed. I thought it would be quicker. What do I do now. I would like someone to contact me about this. Thank you

My 3 year old dell that I was replacing (due to performance) was faster than this! Never will buy HP computer again!
