It's good! It's not too heavy, not too big or small. I feel like the battery dies too fast though

With a nice special offer from Best Buy, this laptop is perfect for what i will use it for, my only gripe is the keyboard, with the keys being silver, which i like, just have to look at the keys sometimes as the letters and numbers do not stand out as they blend in being silver also. But with a nice touch screen and 12GB of memory and 256 gig hard-drive i can live with that.

I love the touch screen and having Cortana to help hands free. Way more than I expected at this price.

I don’t have much skills in the tech department. This has been very easy for me to use. I love that it has a ten key, I work with a lot of numbers. I haven’t gotten the chance to use the camera, I don’t require that much with business over face to face. The touch screen has been a life saver for me. With my eyes not as sharp as they once where and arthritics, it’s great. I would recommend this to anyone, very user friendly.

When I purchased this, it was a lower price than as of this posting date. About $100.00 lower. At that price, it is a decent machine. I liked the amount of RAM, but was concerned about the SSD storage. So far, that hasn't been an issue. For those who worry about the fact that the OS is Win10 S Mode, don't let that deter you. It can be converted to standard Win10 in a few easy steps (There are online instructions for that process. Google is your friend) However, this is a one time, one way conversion. You can't change it back to S Mode. This includes a touch screen. It has no Optical Drive, which is a disappointment. And no port for an external monitor. At least, none for VGA. And finally, HP puts it's power light in a location that requires you to turn the laptop on it's side to view. But if these drawbacks are not an issue to you, then it is an acceptable machine. Or, it was at the price that I paid. At the current price point, IMHO it is borderline.

Computer is great for her book writing. Light weight. Easy to use on a table or sitting in her lap.

I love it as the speed is much better but if us in S mode which frustrated me a little bit. The pro is to protect it but the con is not to allow any app to run such as Zoom. Taking it off creates some issues I think that s why I have the wonderful Geek squad to correct the issues!

I've only had it for a few days, but it's been fine so far. It boots quickly and switches between programs just fine for me. My biggest disappointment (and it's a decently big one) is that the USB-C port is "data only" and doesn't send video. That means I can't use the splitter I have to use 2 external monitors. Since it only has 1 HDMI output, I'm stuck. It's my fault for not fully understanding all the possibilities of USB-C functionality or looking at the specs on the manufacturer's site.

Like the color of the laptop. Like the speed of the laptop. I like how it’s touch screen too.
