This laptop exceeded my expectations, from the moment I took it out of the box. The ease of use and the speed of the processor at the time of purchase.. EXCELLENT.

My old laptop didn't have the processing speed I needed for a specific program for work, so I had to upgrade. The specs of this one seemed too good to be true for the sale price, but my local store had it available for curbside pick up, so I went for it. I've been extremely happy with it so far! The processing speed, camera, and memory are great for the price, so it's perfect for my needs. The only downside I've encountered so far is that the keyboard is slightly cumbersome to get used to. It seems the spacing of the keys is just slightly off standard, but I'm sure I'll get used to it with time.

Had this laptop over 3 years now and still works good graphics overall just one of the best hp out there

I was excited about this laptop because it was a 15in touchscreen for under $500. However, as soon as I got it out of the box, I realized why--the screen resolution is terrible. It is not full HD, only 1336x768, and on a screen of this size it is very very noticeable. I was trying to upgrade from my 13in Dell touchscreen, and while the size increase was great, I lost a LOT in screen quality. I tried to stick it out but after an hour I realized I couldn't do it and returned the computer. If you have a screen that currently has the same resolution as this computer, you might not care, but if you want a crisp and precise screen this isn't the computer for you.

The only problem i have with this laptop is that it's battery drains quickly and it has quite a low screen resolution. Asides from that,the laptop is great generally. Good RAM,touchscreen,lightweight and efficient.

I purchased this laptop for college and I love it! Fast and easy to use. I love that it also has the separate number keypad. Only thing I would of liked was the keyboard to light up.

i was very hesitant about this purchased based on the very bad reviews this laptop had. but i give it 5 stars because i am not very high tech, at all. and this laptop was very simple for me to understand. i know a lot of people were complaining about the windows 10 s. but it was a very simple adjustment to the settings. you can either ask an employee at best buy or youtube it. for me they were very helpful and cleared all my doubts and questions about the laptop. its nothing fancy. make your choice based on what you want this laptop for. i got it for work and school. ive had it for two month, and got it on sale $100 less than retail. so for me $499 is great price for a great laptop. doesnt get better than that.

I think this was a good computer but had a few things wrong. The computer came with Windows 10 in S Mode which you can switch out of. When I did that the computer did run a bit slower but wasn't too bad. The only other thing with mine specifically was it overheated rather quickly and would go into hibernation mode if I used it frequently. Managed to get it fixed. If that happens call Geek Squad and they'll help you out.

This computer is very light weigh and has a fast start up. I think I like the new Windows 10 but Chromebook is better; not to mention Microsoft Edge is rather overwhelming. I think that the price on this computer should be a little lower because the outside feathers are plain and there is no back lighting for the keyboard.

Overall this computer is really good and fast, the only thing that kind of sucks is the color being a bit dull, other than that everything is great

I had this for 12 hours and I was so frustrated with it. The S mode is annoying as hell and I couldn't download Zoom for my work or my son's class. I know you can switch out of S mode but the computer also froze 3 times while looking at best buyer's website to look for other options!! My 10 year old laptop doesn't even freeze up that much! I wasn't going to switch out of S Mode and not be able to return the computer. So back to the store it went!

Don't spend your money on this crappy laptop at ALL. I've had this laptop for a total of 3 years. I was only able to use it like 20 times. It came with a hardware problem. I can't touch my mouse pad without it turning my computer off completely. It taks 30-45 min to turn on. Ive called best buy since getting this laptop they could never help me. Ive called hp who is the manufacturer they told me to pay $900 for repair. For something that isn't my fault at all. Might as well buy a new day computer. Dont waste your time.

At first I really liked this laptop looks really nice however, once I downloaded my work desktop remotely the connection became super slow even with full speed wifi. I would freeze during zoom calls and writing an email took double the time. I am not sure how to fix this since all my other devices work fine the speed/connection and its a brand new computer. Also the keyboard when typing feels off
