************************************ BEWARE *********************************************** It is a known problem with this model that the mousepad is unresponsive a lot of the time yet Best Buy continues to sell it. But whats worse, is when YOU discover this problem, they have NO desire to help and they leave you stranded with a faulty product. After I left a negative google review for the store, Tommy told me to reach out for help via Facebook..... what a disaster!!!! Each reply to a asked question took almost 20 minutes to get. Caleb did inform me that it was not a live chat so I guess Tommy didn't think my time was as valuable as his. DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH MAKING A VERY NICE DONATION BECAUSE SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTENT!!!! AND THEY CONTINUE TO SELL PRODUCTS THEY KNOW HAVE ISSUES KNOWING THEY ALREADY HAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

Sales Person-Excellent assistance, helped me find exactly what I was looking for in a new Laptop and the new HP would be sent to the store. I was perfectly satisfied at this point. Geek Squad-found every reason in the book why they couldn't help me with my computer, refused at first to get the manager so when he did I cancelled the order. Private Repair Service-my computer up and running in 30 minutes. I have always been satisfied with Best Buy sales service and products, with the Geek Squad I always have my fingers crossed that I will get a good person for assistance. Excellent Sales Personnel need to have a equally strong Repair Service backing them up.

Purchase experience was fine - value was fine - but considering its spec it seemed slower than expected.

Have no problems yet.The buttons are not back lit.

Went in to buy the laptop and sales associate wanted to upsell me saying I could only run ms store apps on this laptop. When all you have to do is take it out of s mode and you can install anything you want. Since the deal was so good I just ordered online to avoid dealing with the computer associates. Just make sure to do your own research. Do not trust what the sales associates say. They are either very incompetent or very dishonest.

The product description was that it would last 12 hours on battery. In reality, it only seems to last 2-4 hours. Energy saver is turned on.

Very disappointing transaction with Best Buy, they state one thing on-line or when communicating with them and then a bit of bait and switch happens, and I was left with the choice of returning it or dealing with it. Condition and warranty were falsely stated by Best Buy.

Please take off this product from my profile. I have bought enough from you! One in particular a internal HHD. It works as if a user is left on it. Yes, the c:\ appears to be encrypted I can’t clean it, I can’t add me as user for access. If known technology- you are aware that if I am locked out my “C” drive I am unable to manage the PC. I have noticed many users but it still says I don’t have access!!!!!! I a returning it to you to do what you will.

I bought this computer exactly a year and some change ago and I just stopped working out of nowhere after an update. Verdict is that the motherboard died for an unknown reason. That’s wild

Not sure why a computer of this price in 2024 can’t have a standard 1080p display. Can find many many many, better deals, for the same price or lower.

Good starting laptop for gaming and very useful for students or work. Just don’t expect it to be running a lot as it does have only 8 gb of ram

Overall it’s decent it does what it needs to do. The pixel quality is not the best though

This laptop is cheap but not worth how cheap it is. It can barely handle basic tasks, like keeping a background up the entire time you use it (blacks out). I only use this for basic tasks, and I have pictures that I import onto here and transfer to a external hard drive. The laptop can't even handle the transfer of a max of 100 photos. It takes a long time to load any app that I use, and I'm forced to only use one app at a time. Even just using it to get on the internet is a pain. It's trash and I wish I would've never wasted my money on this.

bought this laptop as a replacement for a older laptop and to my disappointment, my older laptop is much faster than this one. this has better specs but it is way to slow. i have been using my mac book air to sur the web, because this thing is so slow especially when on Amazon and some other sites. this thing slower than a turtle.

I dont like yhat you have to register on line . This could be done at purchase at the store

This is not a touch screen laptop as stated in the specification. Imagine my disappointment when i found out.

I ordered this laptop and it was damaged in shipping. I called best buy customer support and told them I wanted a replacement laptop shipped. They said they could do this. I shipped the damaged laptop back and did not receive the replacement. I called support and they said I would NOT receive a replacement and that I had to take a refund. I checked the price of the laptop and now it is $200 higher. This is why best buy would only give me refund on not a replacement. I'm very disappointed best buy lied about the replacement. Now I can't buy the same laptop unless I pay $200 more than I originally paid.

Disappointed in the HD display. I thought it wouldn't matter for my usage but the HD screen only shows part of what the FHD screen on my prior computer showed. This means I have to move down or over to the right to display what use to be on the visable page. I'm sorry I bought this computer.
