Love my new HP laptop. Great price for simple household bills. Customer service was awesome too.

Good computer for working from home or for home use.

About 4 months after I purchased this laptop, the fan/cooling system started to fail. When I turn on the computer I get a message/warning that the "cooling system is not working and HP is recommending not to use the computer". Then if I use it would shut down automatically in the middle of a task. I used it only for websearch and checking my emails. I went to Best Bay and was told to reach out to HP since i am within the one-year warranty. I called customer service 3 times, was transferred to technical, then warranty department, spent 2 hours on the phone and was finally told that they will send me a shipping box to send the computer out for repair. The repair was supposed to take 8-10 business days after they received the shipping. I was not happy with this solution because I purchased a new computer to avoid headaches like that. Anyway, I agreed to send it for repair. I received the shipping box later than what they told me, then I packed everything per the instructions inside the box and once again described the issue in writing in the provided form. Then drove to UPS store just to find out that HP did not send me a "return shipping label" and I had to pay if I wanted shipped out. I reached back to cust service, they "escalated the issue" again and I havent heard from them. I do have a phone number and email address to a supervisor in their tech dept. but I have not been able to each him. As i type this long review, I know that the computer will turn any moment so just to wrap it up... huge headache for a person who wanted a new computer for simple tasks and who does not have the free time to spend on phone conversations and driving to shipping stores. I do not recommend this product

It is a good laptop for the price but it is a little heavy and it is not that fast

This computer was a good price and had served me well, as of the date.

Sub-average laptop. Fan runs all the time, every time with very minimal or no applications open (even upon a fresh start after a reset or from shut down). Decent battery life, but extremely slow performance.

After six months, the laptop will only charge on its side and the machine sounds like it's going to take off and fly away.

It crashes on me occasionally but overall I’m satisfied with my purchase and I’m happy.

My hp computer is working fine so far. One issue microsoft push their software to hard.

Like all aspects of this computer except for one thing. It does not have a cd player.
