I like the size and it's look. I have not used it much, but I feel it will be okay.

One problem: The "on" button is almost level with the keyboard, hardly raised at all, which makes it darned difficult to press the thing. And since there's no keyboard backlight, you can't tell when you've successfully pressed it. So I start every morning, every project, with an aggravation.

We have bought only HP laptops for years now. The other brands just don't seem to hold up or meet our usage standards. However, the screen resolution does not seem as good on this recent model purchased and the keyboard seems to have a mind of its own at times. (I haven't been able to find the keyboard sensitivity adjustment.)

I bought this laptop because I needed a Microsoft Office compatible laptop in order to finish some spreadsheets for a college class. My MacBook Air wasn’t giving me some of the options I needed because some of the functions are only on none Apple laptops. But let me get to my reason for the 3 stars. I am a college student and rely heavily on my laptops and internet for not only my homework but exams and quizzes that I have to complete. This laptop tends to freeze and disconnect from my internet as soon as I hit my 30-40 minute mark on my exams. Which is very frustrating because once it kicks me out, I can’t retake the exam. The second time it happened I quickly opened up my MacBook and was able to finish where it froze. I’m not sure if this is a common problem with this type of laptop but just something to keep an eye out. But other than that it gets the job done. It’s very bulky but it’s ok for what I need it for.

Very good budget laptop, I use it mostly for office work, no issues with performance

My 1st computer in 8 years. It has been a while since I set 1 up. But was pretty easy and nice to be able to do things at ease with a computer. Plan on using it for my cricut than going to give it to my brother and get a laptop with 16gb ram when i get more money.

I bought this one to replace an old laptop at home and it so much nicer and faster.

I love my new HP laptop, it's been 3 years since I had such a responsive machine. I'm so happy every time I pick it up that I can work without all kinds of little and big annoyances getting in my way. I just wish I would have done this a lot sooner!
