I'm very happy with the laptop. It could be a little faster but for the price it is totally worth it. The touch screen works great and the screen resolution is very good. I'm looking at buying another one for my wife when it goes on sale again.

I replaced a old HP laptop that was still working but very slow. Although I haven't used all the new programs and features this comes with it fits all my basic needs. Geek Squad has been very helpful with the additional service I purchased.

I am not a fan of using my phone to access the internet when I am at home. I love the ease of a laptop. This laptop is great. As a matter of fact, I love mine so much that I bought one for my daughter. it is a great size and has all that is needed for general home use. The speed is adequate for general home use.

I bought it 3 years ago and gave it to my sister. It still works well. The only problem is the battery. It weakens as time passes. But overall, it is a good laptop.

My girlfriend loves this laptop, and it serves her purposes quite well. For the features this laptop has, the price from Best Buy was terrific, and the options were all explained to me while in the store. This made my choice more simplified knowing that the knowledgeable sales person knew what he was talking about.

purchased this for my daughter for college. She is very happy with the laptop and likes that it had a touch screen at such a good value and wasn't a chromebook. Has held up well. will update review if quality does not hold up over time

The laptop was bought for basic home use and is obviously portable. It came at a good price, but isn't the right product if I was planning on using it to run high end apps that use a lot of cpu and memory. Battery life is just average.

Replaced an HP DV6 which was more bang for the buck but the motherboard failed after 6 years. Was in a hurry to replace within my budget. The information about specs were vague on the HP packaging and from Best Buy. Some models of 15-ay009 have slightly different specs. Read the fine print or do more research. I did not. Urgency, Price, Screen Size and MS Office were my reasons for purchase. So far I kind of like Windows 10 and the computer is running OK but no faster than the old DV6. I dislike the numeric keypad and the case texture is hard to clean. Sometimes the DVD drive vibrates the whole computer and buzzes loudly when running at high speed.

This is a great computer, especially for the price. Runs fast and has plenty of storage. It has a touch screen, but I never use it as the screen doesn't fold over like 2 in 1s. My only gripe with this computer is that the number lock doesn't have an indicator to tell you it's on and seems to turn off randomly

So far I have been pleased with this computer. It boots up fast and shuts down fast. I do not use the touch screen but it is nice to have when sitting out in the yard with it on my lap. Very pleased so far with this low priced item.

This was a purchase for a client and she loves it I set it up for her it's a good little laptop for the money and I would buy another one. HP is always a good value, I always buy either HP or Dell for our new machine requirements.

Simple computer. Have issues with the power button sometimes

Bought as a gift for my mom and it's easy to use and she loves it. Thinking abut getting myself one too

This HP laptop uses the Intel i3-6200 chip which is as fast as some of the early generation i5 chips, such as in my HP 840 Elitebook that I use for work. The only negative is I do not like Windows 10, and may consider deleting it and installing Windows 7, which is what I am still running on my work PC.

Great Laptop for the money, plenty fast, great graphics, DVD/DVR, webcam ... Only issue, hdmi port is a little shaky. Have to plug cable in 2/3x before it works. Might have to bring in .. otherwise would have given 5 stars

I didn't need a fancy computer so I read reviews and this one fit all my needs. The i3 core is just right for browsing and running applications. I have been able to run excel, stream videos, browse the web, and sift through email all at the same time. Great for someone needing a computer on a budget.

We were looking for a laptop with a quality processor, dvd drive, enough Ram, etc to replace an older laptop. This is a great HP laptop at a great price and gave us everything we were looking for. Very happy with out purchase!

I purchased this computer because it was with in my budget of $500 and the reviews were good. The computer works great although the battery life is not that long. I was aware of this and keep it plugged in most of the time.
