I am 51 years old & received my first laptop this past Christmas. In fact, I am writing this review on it! It is perfect! easy to use & affordable. we have a printer, with software to link computers & I didn't even have to use it! My computer "sensed" our printer. So happy my husband bought me this one!

I received my laptop for Christmas last year. I love it. So much faster than my old one. Going from screen to screen. And having a touch screen is the best, especially for game play. When I have to use another comp. it takes me a minute to remember it doesn't have the touch.

I love having a new computer which is much faster than my old one.

Love this Laptop first one I've purchased with a touchscreen love this feature. Plenty of space for my photos and the setup is easy to use.

I don't usually write reviews. I am writing this one because the process of shopping for a laptop online was so frustrating to me with my low-ish technological knowledge and I went back and forth on so many different units that I want to try to help someone else in my shoes. I was looking for a laptop that was 1.) reasonably priced 2.) easy to set up 3.) not slow as molasses. This laptop is all of those things. Yes...after the initial set-up, there were updates that took about 10 hours...so I left it plugged in overnight and it was done updating by the morning. All subsequent updates have been quick and painless. I have bought similarly priced laptops before and my experience has been nowhere near as positive as with this unit. I had debated about getting the next version up (in the $500 - $600 range) and am glad I didn't. For my needs (internet, email and Microsoft Office, primarily), this laptop has been perfect.

I’m still getting familiar with this laptop and it’s OS. Really dislike what windows did with the newer version but I hope to get used to it.

Great computer for everyday use. Easy set up. Bought for Christmas gift at a fair price.

I purchased this laptop on sale and was excited about it given the large number of positive reviews. I was in need of a new laptop and this one seemed to check a number of boxes I was looking for (i3 processor, 8 GB RAM, at least 500 MB HD, etc.). Unfortunately, I discovered this laptop lacked a couple of features that I thought would benefit me longer term. One is that the wifi is N, rather than AC. Probably not noticeable, but seemed like a way to cut corners on cost. The other was it has a 3-cell battery instead of a 4-cell. Again, it may not make a huge difference in battery life, but it's something I wouldn't want to regret later. I found a Dell laptop at a similar price point with comparable specs and the two items mentioned above, so I returned the HP.

I bought this for school. I’m a nursing student so funds are tight. I still needed something that would allow me to write papers, surf the web and download music and reasonably priced. My father has worked in IT for 30+ years so after having read all the reviews I presented this to him. He looked over the specs and gave the seal of approval. I’m super happy with this purchase right now. If anything changes I’ll edit my review. But for now, very happy.

I made this purchase to replace a Toshiba computer. The ease of operating the Hp far exceeded my expectations. The screen has vivid displays and the touch screen allows faster movement from screen -to-screen, The purchase was one of the best investments I've made.

Great laptop for the basics of just surfing the internet and working on school work. Touchscreen is very responsive and I've experienced no lag or freezing whatsoever in the 3 months I have been using this laptop.

1st time I owned a touch screen computer seemed easy to use

I work from home sometimes and needed a laptop that was reliable with good memory. The touchscreen is just right - not too sensitive. It's durable and lightweight. Would definitely recommend it.

It's lightweight and easy to use. Start-up was very easy. Overall it's user friendly

Memory and storage on this laptop is great. Touch screen is an added bonus on this unit. It is fast, Love the texture of the surface when carrying this laptop. Does not slip in your hand and should lessen the likelihood of inadvertently dropping the laptop.

Battery life does not last long on this and cursor gets stuck on the touch pad but you get what you pay for. It was a cheaper laptop for minimal use.

My laptop is easy to use and has many features that make it well worth the price.

It has the amount of memory that I need to successfully run my online business.
