Was the need of grand son for high school and to take to college. We let him pick what he wanted. He wanted this one because it was also good for his other uses of the computer.

I would have bought a faster processor if I had known but other than that, this HP is all that it promises to be. Tons of memory makes going to college all that much easier!

Most reviews I based my purchase on where good. The start up speed and the Wi-Fi connection which some reviews where a issue with them, does not seem to be a issue for us!!

I bought this for my son. He needed a new one for school. Great computer, easy to use, large screen with clear pictures. Computer has alot of storage and memory. Everything was easy to install and works well.

I love the hp laptop. I enjoy the versatility of using the mouse or touching the screen to make my selections. Does everything I need it to do. Great for all of my needs. Battery lasts for a long time also.

Got this for my son and it's fine as a basic laptop but the fan is really loud and it's really heavy

This HP laptop was just the perfect size for me and had everything I needed it to have. The quality is good. The graphics are wonderful, and the sound is much better than anything I have previously owned.

It is easy to use. . I like the fact that I can ask the machine questions if I do not know how to do something on the computer. It gives me good answers. It is a good machine. It does what I need it to do.

I waited 12 years to get a new laptop and wanted one I could keep a long time and so far this one is great. Best Buy employees always takes the time to help me get what I want and they have done it again

It is a great laptop for a new University student. The big HDD is a great things, nonetheless a SSD would improve speed considerably. Still, great laptop!

I bought this laptop because I needed a new one for school and it is everything I could have hoped for. High speed internet and it came with a security program upon purchase. Would highly recommend!

The weight is nice for lugging around. It runs nice. Though it could be better if it didn’t have all the preintalled garbage on it. Though that’s a norm with hps.

Following the setup instructions required providing a bit more personal information than I was comfortable giving. But the prompt were clear and easy to understand, with options for text or voice.

This computer meets my basic needs for school/work. Not as fast as I would like it but for the price I’m happy with it.

Since I’m not into games, I use my laptop for creating books, greeting cards, and surfing the Internet. Laptops are easy to transport without a separate keyboard. I do prefer using a cordless mouse.

I don't play computer games, so I don't need suped up graphics. I just need to remote in to my work computer and get things done. This computer works great for everything that I have thrown at it.
