This laptop is pretty slow, doesn't seem like a 8 GB RAM laptop. The touchpad isn't smooth either. The 1366 x 768 resolution will also give a hard time for the eyes. But, OK if you look look something within $400 price range

This computer is a disappointment. Hard to log on, it gets struck and I have to turn the machine off and on to get it to start and the DVD player is a real bear to get it to play.

I think we got a lemon. Bought this for daughter in college in Feb and in August we were already shopping for a replacement. Would not recommend.

Kept getting error messages regarding microsoft unable to process. Extremely slow. Over 10 minutes to shut down. Returned. Son has same one. His is great. Mine wasnt

When I first got this laptop I noticed that it was slower and did not function as well as my previous computer, despite being five years newer, but it was fine. Until it crashed 1 year and two months later, almost exactly to the day of purchase. This piece of crap lasted just long enough for the warranty to expire. I won't say never, but I will say it will be a very long time before I consider purchasing an HP product again.

Don't like all the new stuff automatically being sent here and there. Don't have control like with my old computer. Actually would be nice to have another USB port.

I gave this to my Son because I did not like it. It had really nothing that I liked about it. It was my very first laptop and it just wasn’t for me.

Kind of junky. Honestly it is the bloatware that I dislike the most. But hey, you get what you pay for.

no problems with usage, but 2 months after 1yr warranty ran out, the left hinge broke and case is coming apart, so I can't close it

After spending close to $700.00 with "needed add-ons" for a $400.00 computer, I expected to be able to access e-mail. However it has only been a few days less than a month and complex problems like this likely take time. Additionally, I was expecting simplicity in ability to navagate between activities such as e-mail, internet, and stored photos. Obviously, my expectations were not realistic. Thanks for reading my frustrations!

Nice looking, reasonably priced laptop that performs like a 486. It is the slowest machine I’ve owned in an extremely long time.

Plagued with 'sticky keys'. Particularly troubling is the sticking of the main 'Enter" key. I will try to get Geek Squad to fix it.

Takes forever to load any request. Locks up when searching. You have to go to the task manager to quit whatever website your on. Constantly get search engine has lost connection warning. Do not buy this computer. I did look at previous ratings, which by the way were mostly bad, and foolishly ignored them. Probably will have to buy another laptop, this one is past any exchange opportunity. My fault.

Bought this laptop for my son but it didn’t last up to two years. It just went off.

Really slow had no use for it I ended up giving it away to a younger sibling

I had to return the Laptop after 2 days. It was to slow for my standards and did not meet my expectations.

I am disappointed with the speed of this new laptop, it is much slower than my old Toshiba satellite

Lap top was working fine for 10 months then trouble started. The glue that sticks the screens to the frame is not sticking and now I cant open my screen without the frame coming out. Also, the key board gets sticky and I can't type letters c,d,e,3. I have to use the keyboard in the touch screen typing this. HP lost a customer here.

the screen bezels broke after opening and closing only a handful of times

I tried to save some money by buying this, but the processor is sooo bad. Avoid this!
