My laptop is grand and I love it, the best Christmas gift I ever brought myself.

The laptop works good for it's intended purposes. However, the big square touch pad sometimes feels like it sticks. All in all it's good for what I need. I would buy it again.

Could be me but the touch screen is not working for me

My #1 priority was finding a laptop with the biggest screen at Best Buy, and w/ keys that I can type on without issues (spacing, tactile feel--I can't type fast on flat keys bc I can't really feel them well). I also needed one that was more modern as it was replacing an old PC. And, I had a strong preference for a built-in numeric keypad, which it does have in spite of the specs saying it doesn't in the BB listing (as of this time). I spend all day in my home office doing my day job so I dread working on my home PC in there too. The intention for this laptop was to get me out of that office and be comfortable using this computer in any other room of the house. Mission accomplished. I really enjoy using this computer. The Best Buy salespeople (multiple) tried to steer me away from this because for a couple hundred dollars more, I could get an i7 but the screen wasn't as big and the keys didn't have that tactile feel I was looking for. I also noticed that the laptop from the company I just quit was an i5 and my new company as well gave me an i5. I figured if it's good enough to do my job, it's good enough for me to do the essentials at home. I've had this for only a couple weeks so I can't speak to long-term observations, but I have had zero issues with it thus far. It's fast, it's pleasant to look at (on the internet and with the programs I installed), no eye strain that I'd normally get looking at a small laptop screen, it does what it's supposed to do (my old PC doesn't so this is so nice!) For people on the go, this might be too big or too heavy but for those with the same criteria I had, this is pretty perfect. I am not a gamer or streamer, so I can't speak to responsiveness in that regard but for shopping, email, paying bills, doing research, etc., it's great. Got this during Black Friday week for $350 and I couldn't be happier. I was planning to spend around double that but this one met all my needs. Win win! I think it's kind of lousy that BB has a 15-day return policy, that's just not enough time to test it out and ensure it's not going to cr@p out on you, but one thing I will always keep in mind if I need to replace this is that the return period during Xmas season is in January so it gives you more time to test it. They tried to sell me the membership which also extends the return period but I didn't personally see the value for my situation.

Bought this HP - 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop at Best Buy, got it at almost half price. and Happy with this purchase so far. Specification : - HP - 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Natural Silver Pros : - Performance is really good at this price range - Light weight - Touch screen Cons : - Keys on keyboard feels bit cheap and doesn't give a sturdy feel. might be i am not use to using this very soft keys. hopefully after couple month key might set well and would not feel this.

I have been looking for a long time for a laptop with touchscreen controls at decent pricepoint. I found this on a cybermonday deal and got an open box as well as a 32GB ram upgrade kit cause the single-channel 8GB it comes with is way too paltry to get anything done with. I use network storage so the small SSD storage is fine with me for now too. It boots up very quickly and the touch input is definitely very responsive and it has shown the capacity to keep up with what I want to use this machine for (audio recording and editing/web browsing mostly). The battery life is decent on light loads - I played a game on it for about a half hour and it did get below 50% but don't fault it because that is way outside of the bounds this machine is designed for. The keys on the keyboard are a little weird with their textured finish - if they did smooth keys with a bit of concave it'd be much, much better - but what is there I can get used to. With a 32GB RAM and if needed SSD upgrade - this laptop is absolutely a great deal - I could not be more happy with my purchase.

This HP laptop is very lightweight and portable, making it ideal for a college student (I bought it for my daughter). The processor in this laptop is fast enough to handle her class and assignment workload. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent excellent laptop. Does exactly what I need (which isn’t much besides Microsoft office and web browsing), but a great work horse. And love the big screen and keypad

This is a great laptop. It's fast and powerful and can be used as a large tablet. It ha an extraordinary battery life with a crisp display. I would recommend it and would buy it again if I needed to.

Bought this computer for my daughter. Easy Set up and we've had no problems with accessing everything she needs for educational purposes. Laptop runs very smoothly and the touch screen functionality is helpful for her transition from the tablet

Good speed, battery last longer than I expected, great display

We’ve had this laptop for a week now. Setup was easy. So far speeds seems good, loads web pages fairly quickly. Lightweight and my wife likes the touchscreen. Time will tell if this computer lives up to expectations. But so far, so good.
