My husband and I were looking for a laptop for him, and we had certain criteria that it had to meet. The person that helped up was informative and very helpful. Not to mention juggling helping two other people at the same time, but keeping everyone in the correct order when people were trying to pull him away. Good job!

Good specs for the price. The only thing I havent liked so far is the screen, resolution is terrible and would not recommend if you need to work for pronlogued times. It's the the one thing that is making me consider upgrading it to a more expensive one.

Powerful laptop that is working great and is fast.

This laptop has a metallic look and is very light compared to last generation laptops. It’s quite powerful as well with 12gb of RAM and the Optane memory is a nice boost, using the LRO algorithms to store recently used data in memory for faster access.

My HP 15.6" touch screen laptop was a great find. The computer is fast and meets all of my needs. I am a student and mother of two rambunctious kids. I am a nurse who is working through her BSN program and needed a computer that will grow with me. This computer fits the bill. Great screen and video camera.

I decided this time to stick with a fairly up to date Intel -brand chip and look for an SSD hard drive and built in memory with sufficient capacity. This computer represents a more-or-less basic machine with those choices. I expect it to fully meet my needs and did not have the wait time for assembly of a custom PC.

Happy with choice of laptop. It has been 6 years since purchase of last laptop (also HP) and many programs are very much improved. There was a significant price drop at Best Buy just a few days after my purchase. I requested a refund by their Price Guarantee Policy. I have not yet received their reply.

I use this laptop for school and side business. Very fast to load and the applications are all very responsive. The silver aluminum casing is great and has been handling rough handling very well.

I bought this laptop 14 months ago and absolutely love it. The Geek Squad transferred info from old laptop and were very good and patient showing me how to do various things on computer. The also installed my webroot security on old laptop for me because I use it sometimes.

I bought two of these and they both had the same mechanical defect. Internal fan ran constantly as loud as a hair dryer. Brightness was also an issue. Some lots of this cpu worked well, but the current one stinks. The CPU has great specs for the price, but with the fan running constantly I doubt it would last for too long. I got great help both from both Geek Squad and HP, but why send a new item in for repair? I bought a Lenovo instead.

I purchased a couple of these and they are really nice laptops. 512 SSD would be nice but 256 will work for most users. Also, buy from Microcenter since Best Buy has decided to not support small businesses that are resellers. I guess it is ok for them to make money, just not us.

I went into the store not knowing what to buy and was greeted by April...she was awesome as was the "nerds". They took care of transferring all my data from my old computer and the transition was a breeze. The computer is nice too!
