Trouble with laptop.

BB resolved this matter on 2/19/20 by replacing laptop with a different one. New one seems to be working correctly so far.

Very very loud fan

I like the design and the specs. But the fan is way too loud. The CPU usage will display at 12% on the task manager but that fan sounds like a plane in an airport. Worst feature about this device.

Dead in 16 months bought new

I liked the feel of the keyboard, looks nice but I expected longer than 12 months. I’ll see if my son can fix it but it’s a pain to try and open. I’ll never buy another laptop with an internal battery pak. I’m buying a cheap HP and saving for another Mac.

problem since at got it

First, I could not install the Norton anti-virus product that I bought from best buy, after calling Norton, they stated I had a virus and needed to contact a company for a fire wall. I ad to have that company install a fire wall. I never had a problem before purchasing this computer. It was shutting down every day when I was using it. It will continually act as if I loaded a cd, just will continually run for a time. If the store was open I would definitely returned the product, I had MCAFEE on my computers prior to installing Norton. I had a home computer and a work computer and never had problems. I can not believe that the virus did not come with the computer. I CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW I HAD NO PROBLEMS UNTIL I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT

Slowest processing ever

The HP was $300 higher than dell and specs were two times the speed but brand new out the box over heating and fan sounds like a leaf blower just checking e mail. Will be returning for refund tomorrow.

Got a bad one

Sent it to HP for repair after about 3 hours on the phone with an HP tech trying to get it to work, got it back about 2 weeks later and crashed again. Just sent it back for a second "repair" and crossing fingers. I got a lemon.

Returned after it lost the operating system

Started working a few hours later, then crashed again the next day. My guess is the SSD had a problem. No problem with returning it. Bought a laptop from Dell with a normal 1 TB hard-drive.

Hasn't worked correctly since I bought it

Best Buy has been closed with long hold times on the phone and no availability when I try the online help. I've contacted HP twice in which they have reset the laptop back to factory and did some updates on it which have not resolved the issue. Sat on hold for 46 minutes waiting for someone from Best Buy Corporate to answer to have them hang up on me. Extremely disappointed with Best Buy and this laptop. I am just trying to return it and get my money back. I understand what is going on right now however this is ridiculous hoops I have to jump through for a cheap laptop.

Poor graphics

Otherwise it seemed good, but I returned it rather quickly. I am used to my iPad and this was not satisfactory. However, the customer service at Best Buy was good and I had no problem with the return!

Not what I was looking for

Definitely needed more cores, i7 or i9 is what we're looking into. But it was a nice personal computer, light weight, and the setup was user friendly.

Geek squad was not available and no other option for a fix due to COVID shutdown. Very disappointed that there was no one available to fix problem
