Was not worth $500, seemed like it should be worth the same price as a chrome book.

My favorite laptop by far. The touch screen was very useful and the laptop itself was very powerful. Would use it for school and even gaming and editing. 10/10 would recommend

Past business experience has told me that HP is a dependable brand. Experience proved it again. Great product. I purchased a slightly less expensive Lenovo for another application. Over time, this proved to be a mistake. I'm now purchasing another HP to replace the Lenovo. Nuff said.

I bought this for school to use for programming things since i didn’t wanna do that on my Mac. I didn’t end up downloading any coding software because i realized it wasn’t for me! But overall, okay laptop. Can’t speak much on its performance for more complex things. It does lag a bit, and it’s very bulky. I just have it as a backup laptop now.

I purchased my laptop in 2019 for simple internet browsing and to play games like sims 4. It was most definitely worth it. I have not had any issuses thus far. My children use it for school as well. I complete projects with my cricut and sooo much more. This was a great buy and I strongly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a laptop.

This laptop has been going strong for about 4 years now with only web browsing usage and light gaming, mostly minecraft, I still have the stock battery and I can say that the battery life is short and I usually charge it 2 times a day.

Been using this computer the last three years and has held up great, honestly my computers usually have a habit on dying on me in two, so im glad this one has held up better.

I bought this laptop due to the intel core 5 and the speed... I am a student so I need to multitask doing research and watching videos.. AMAZING speed capabilities and great start time and overall Good (besides how cheap keyboard seems).. BUT I bought one and two day into using it for only half hour the screen went black with green lines on top when I would press cursor, tried control alt delete and it brought the screen up until I had to use the cursor again- took it back and exchanged it immediately for same model thinking just a fluke... BUT than after day 10 of the 2nd one anytime I pressed the lower line of keyboard buttons half my screen went black!! I was thinking how nuts this is that this “fluke” would happen TWO times! LUCKILY I was one day away from Best Buy return deadline or I would of been screwed with having to purchase a fix or likely have had to send out a BRAND NEW computer to be fixed by HP. Not cool:( I rated it 3 because I loved the computer and its features but I wasn’t about to attempt round 3... ONE thing I didn’t like is it doesn’t pair with apple products only android which I can see Apple only using apple products which is super lame for us iPhone users but not too big a deal.

Very excellent laptop. i did not find any issue in last 4 years and I am using aprox 10hours/day.

I recently had surgery that necessitates using a walker and limits my movements through my house. I'm sort of computer poor, as I enjoy building PC Desktops, of which I have 3. Unfortunately, due to my recovery from surgery I spend most of my time in front of the TV (Also bought from Best Buy on sale) which is away from my desktops. So, feeling lost and only having a smartphone, I decided to buy an inexpensive laptop. Knowing that I didn't want to spend a lot, I finally came upon this HP. All-In-All it fills the bill, but the downside is that the storage is sort of small which will probably make me get another, higher capacity SSD. Also, the mouse pad is "Twitchy" meaning that it's too sensitive. I don't regret my purchase, and for the price it fills my needs. Nicely constructed and the keyboard is nice to the touch. BTW, I consider this as more of a "Tablet" than a full-blown Laptop.

just bought this laptop and 30 minutes later it was up and running. 12GB RAM, solid state, i5 10th generation, touch screen. only thing missing is dvd player. cheaper than some i3 processor laptops

We purchased this as a "home computer" for casual use and some streaming. A year+ later, this has still been of great value and is the perfect price, quality, and build for any casual home use.

On blackfriday i went to buy a computer i was looking one for my school use i found one but it was out of stock. I bought this computer, it worked fast. It's cheap compared to components, it has an i5 core expected for this price. And great memory of ram (12gb). It works fast but it has an issue with it's fan creating loud noises I will be sending it to HP for its repair. The touch screen works great and thing to keep in mind that you should take it out of window s mode. So, it doesn't restricts you for daily use or any type of installation out of the store.

Bought this for the wife to use with her Cricut Maker and it works perfectly. The fan does get lots if it’s on the bed or carpet because of lack of heat dissipation but otherwise it’s great for the price.
