Easy to navigate. Not lightning fast but over all is a good product.. my husband prefers a computer with lighted keys but they are more expensive, I find that in the dark when you are typing tilting the screen toward the keys works perfectly.

Needed a new laptop for home use. This one was easy to start up. It is more compact than my old one, much lighter and doesn't put out as much heat. My only issue is the num lock key doesn't light up, so I'm not sure if the numbers will show up when I type in a password using the keys to the right.

Bought 3 months ago for son headed to college. He is an engineering student, needing to use programs like CAD. He is very happy with the computer. I am buying another for my younger son heading to college for art design.

First all, it’s a 500$ laptop so don’t expect MAC level hardware. I bought this computer for my 15 year old son who was just starting highschool so that he would have his own computer to do his homework and research on..,he likes that it boots up fast and the battery life is really long.

I bought this for my daughter who has a day care business. Her old computer quit on her, and she could not conduct any business. I buy ONLY HP products and peripherals because to me they are one of the best companies. Usually, there’s NEVER a problem with HP.

Having owned various HP computers and printers over the years, this was the reasonable choice. Compared products, specs, reviews, etc and HP stood out among the rest. Meets and exceeds her present needs.

This computer is great for what I bought it for. It has an i5 processor which is a bit slower than my main computer. I use this one for a certain purpose plus backup for my main computer. It would be great for school and college students. Very good computer.

With the exception of an issue with the first laptop I received all is going well. There was an issue when I brought the first laptop home and went back and received a replacement. My tech challenged wife is finding this laptop easy to use and all running well.

I love the computer but am not able to answer questions as I am not a computer whiz. I just use in my home, for my own personal matters. All technical questions should be referred to HP or Best Buy.

Never had a computer with an SSD. Startup, shutdown, basic use. So fast. Love it. The big screen is great for easy viewing. We don't use a computer for much beyond the basics of internet, Word, Excel, and storing files. This was perfect for us.

Just returned this computer. After completing set-up the computer became very warm, as did the power cord box (hot). I turned it on again on a separate occasion and noticed within 15-20min it would heat up and the loud fan would come on. Not okay for any computer to do this and I was surprised because it wasn't a cheap laptop - this one did seem faulty. Although, after returning the computer I read reviews here and noticed others had mentioned the heat issue and loud fan so, buyer beware. I won't be getting another HP laptop anytime soon, unfortunately, due to this, and will opt for another brand. Mouse pad also extremely sensitive and squirrely to direct.

This laptop is very quiet, since it is equipped with SSD! I was surprised how lightweight it was, very light, Full keyboard with a full number pad off to the right, The touchscreen works very easily. So far so good. Blazing fast downloading times.

The laptop is a good value, but for me a bit heavy. The processor speed is good and the keyboard is easy to work with. The display is good too and it met the requirements I needed beyond just the basic stuff.

So far this laptop has lived up to my expectation. Great for browsing, and some productivity work. No performance problems, love the quick start-up with the SSD drive. Would recommend for anyone who wants a good overall home computer.

I bought this computer for me daughter in Christmas. She wants it to play games and do her school work. It works wonderful sometimes it is better no believe everything negative other people say until you try it yourself. We are happy to buy it.

Bought this for work and some personal use as well. Super fast boot-up. Love the SSD Hard Drive. Great screen size and the bonus of the number keypad is useful as well. Definitely recommend it!

I will use this for work. I didnt realize that the storage would fill up so fast with just documents and such. I usually keep a few movies for layovers in airports. I like the computer because it’s light.

The laptop works wonderful for me I'm a college student and so far ita been great I've had it for 9 months now. I do really hate that there is no backlit keyboard though. Makes working at night difficult but easily fixed with a small light.

I use a laptop for basic computer functions, surfing the net, banking, shopping online, checking email, etc. The HP solid state performance -- boots up quickly -- no delays at all. I'm very happy with the unit and would recommend it.

I would highly recommend this computer because it is on the cheap side for a great computer with such a good processor and amount of memory you receive.
