    I was disappointed once I purchased this PC as I was told a couple of things about it by salesman that ended up not being true. 1st it does NOT have a DVD/CD slot and 2nd does NOT have a lighted keyboard. I do a lot of typing at night and the lighted keyboard is important to me

    I bought this as a gift. After my niece had used the computer and I had transferred all her data and reinstalled programs - she then says that the fingerprint reader isn't working. After Windows tole me it couldn't find a reader and after research, I determined that there is NO fingerprint reader in this laptop. The specs online at HP (while not easy to get to) do not show a fingerprint reader and I did not see any hardware for it on the laptop. I was very disappointed. My niece did not want me to take it back because it was otherwise all set up, but I would not have bought it if I had known there was no fingerprint reader. That is a great security measure.
