Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the laptop's speed, touch screen capabilities, and reasonable price. They appreciate its light weight and good battery life, as well as its fast performance and ample storage. On the downside, some users have concerns about the fan noise, battery life, limited number of USB ports, the absence of a fingerprint reader despite being advertised to have one, and the short warranty period.

    Operates better in theory

The specs for this computer were good so I bought it to replace a 3 year old Envy. The screen is okay, the keyboard feels small and the fan as other have posted really has an annoying hum. The deal breaker was after having it professionally set up it seemed slow. It has more than 2x the processor power and memory as the computer it was replacing yet somehow it was slower? I went to various clocking web sites and it turns out it is about 400% slower! Yes, I said 400% I did it side by side with my older machine and it only averaged about 45Mbps while my older unit averaged around 212Mbps. Some people may find this acceptable but i do not. What's the point in upgrading the processing power if the machine cant download it quick enough to utilize it?

Battery is abysmal, screen is tinted blue

There are several things worth mentioning here. The screen has a blue tint to it, cannot seem to fix it. The display is not HD, which is odd for something in this price range. The battery discharges within 2 hours even if you only use internet (not watching movies, etc.) Bought this piece of garbage and now I'm stuck with it. Shame on me I should have returned it, but please, save yourself, run, don't walk, AWAY from this junk.

Gets the job done but lacks proper privacy

I have had this for a few years but recently had some issues with hackers to where the laptop became unusable. The issue privacy features didn’t really matter as when I switched things off it would just switch back on the next day. Support was unhelpful and it became a loss.

You have to look at the pdf specs to figure out this is only in windows 10 S mode which does not allow you to install anything that is not on the Microsoft store.
