This is one of the most disappointing laptops I've ever had. I just bought this today and the screen looks terrible and washed out, the noise from the fan is so loud it sounds like a jet plane is in my house, it keeps getting stuck on restarting and will not update, it drains the battery pretty quickly, the speakers sound washed out, the casing was scratched when I opened the box, and it runs poorly. I would NOT recommend buying anything from hp as everytime I've bought a laptop from them it breaks in two months or has problems right out of the box. STAY AWAY

So far this laptop is faster and works well. I believe I need to work with it longer, maybe 6 months to make a true assessment. I did not like that I had to remove an application before I could download an application I use frequently. It was simple ti remove it as long as I understood it couldn't be reloaded.

It’s been a learning process trying to figure it out. The touchpad stopped working 4 days in. I took it to the Geek Squad and they couldn’t fix it. I’m going to have to have it sent out to get fixed. I’m not happy that I’ll be without it for at least a week.

I was buying my daughter a new computer. She is in college and I wanted a computer that was clean and fast. Thr young man was very helpful. We chose a bigger computer than what I got for her 5 years ago. Needless to say she is very happy with the speed and ability for her online classes.

Good basic laptop. Screen size was the main reason I bought it. Key action could be better. The clicking sound gets old. But when you consider what an Apple with the same size screen cost it makes this HP a great value. I bought it mainly to get full views of financial reports that I get on stocks.

Very good computer for the price. I brought it for a self employment start up and it works perfectly. You ABSOLUTELY should take it out of S mode as soon as you buy it. In S mode it is easily a 1 start product due to software limitations.

My daughter has been using this laptop for school and she stated the following: the laptop is quite good. It is fast and responsive. The touch screen responds quickly and easily. The one thing that I did notice was that the keys are flimsy, but other than that I haven't had any issues with it. Definitely recommend!

The touch screen feature is good. While the natural silver is attractive I find the keyboard letters and numbers hard to see. When I purchased the unit I was under the impression that the keyboard would be illuminated to make the letters, numbers and symbols easy to see and for that reason I would not purchase another.

The computer is literally a gem! The only reason it didn't get five stars would be due to the processor not keeping up with the amount of RAM the computer had. Iam a person who needs a bunch of different programs open that work simultaneously, so ideally a laptop with i7 core /16 GB would have worked best. However, due to time constraints, I had to go with what was available, so I decided on trying out an i5 core with more ram (12 GB), which worked well for a while. For anyone that is looking to be able to play a movie while having their email up and a couple of tabs, this computer will be great. The keyboard does NOT light up, which for a night owl like myself, also doesn't work out too well, so make sure you have a tiny bit of lighting if you're still typing by looking at the keys once in a blue moon. Overall the battery power was quite amazing, and it DOES charge extremely fast. Plus the screen and keyboard are optimal and balanced, with a number pad, which is great! I would definitely buy it again if it came down to it.

Great buy! Love the touchscreen and lighted keyboard. I know technology is ever changing and computers seem outdated in like 6 months, but this device has held up very well I can't say enough how much I love the ability to touch the screen.

This laptop was a replacement for my old laptop which died suddenly. It is very light, performs very well, the speed is phenomenal. The Best Buy Geek Squad were very efficient in transferring data from the old laptop to this model. All in all an efficient and painless experience.

I needed to buy a computer quick for a work project and I chose this one because it was a fair price and rated highly. So far so good. Easy setup and was ready to go right away. The only thing I wish is that the keys were marked more clearly but luckily I know the keyboard pretty well.

Plain and simple, it gets the job done. I'm not a graphic designer, I don't game on PC, and I don't have to create fancy presentations for work. So I didn't need a top of the line $1k+ computer. That's not to say the quality is lacking, quite the opposite. Great laptop at a great price.

One of my users needed a laptop to work remotely and this is an affordable and well spec'd laptop. I wish it was a 512 SSD. Also, buy from Microcenter since Best Buy has decided to not support small businesses that are resellers. I guess it is ok for them to make money, just not us.

I have had this computer for about a month now. It's used as our primary home computer as well as for my startup. It's very responsive, fast and quiet. No reason to spend a lot of money when this one fits the bill for my use.

Bought more than a month ago. Very satisfied. Touchscreen is helpful when you don’t want to use mouse. The only limitation is the noise. Occasionally it makes the hard drive running nose for a short time. It’s ok. I’m used to it. There is nothing abnormal. Other than that this is an excellent laptop

I purchased this computer as replacement for my 7 year old laptop. I have had it for 2 weeks and it is as expected running flawlessly. It was easy to hookup to my monitor and wireless mouse and keyboard. Still getting familiar with office 365 but not much of a learning curve.

Perfect laptop for military things! I bought this before going to training and it has handled everything I've done on it! I do mainly simple tasks such as running Microsoft office and Adobe, but it does so quickly! The Netflix streaming is pretty nice as well!

Solid basic laptop for every day use, doesn’t have very well but not designed to. You can run two to three apps at once with no problem. Only think to note, no disk drive and battery drains a little quicker thank I would expect. Overall very satisfied with this HP though!

I am so pleased with this purchase. I did a lot of research priori to purchasing and this item did not disappoint. It has all the features I was looking for wand moves lightening fast. Thank you Best Buy for being there for us during this pandemic so we can still get what we need.
