It is a very good laptop and very reasonably priced

The HP - 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 12GB Memory - 256GB SSD - Natural Silver laptop works well for all the standard uses we needed like email, web browsing, office software, videos, etc. The keyboard can be a bit hard to read at night depending on the light around it is our only slight issue.

I ended up returning for a few reasons but largely because this laptop has some Microsoft windows thing where you pretty much can't download any program not in the Microsoft store unless you take it off of a designated safe mode, called S mode. Once you take it off its S mode you can't go back. I didn't understand it all and each time I tried to download basic things like MacAfee or a video conference program - it'd pop-up with a warning not to do it. I'd never seen anything like that, I did some googling about, but I wasn't in the mood to deal with it, so I returned it. Otherwise, it's a lightweight laptop, feels sort of cheap, but ran pretty smooth and quick (maybe because of S mode?).

This is a perfect everyday use laptop. It's pretty quick, handles running multiple applications at once and is pretty light weight. The only cons are the fan can be a little loud and the battery doesn't last quite as long as i'd like.

It's different from my last laptop (different brands) but as I learn I am loving this one better .... in 6 months I'll say " It's the Best"! Just give yourself time to adjust to this one.. just like a new pair of shoes ( things take time).

No complaints so far. We had to take it out of microsoft's S mode to be able to use zoom. With all of the remote working and school work, it would be helpful if Microsoft added their app to their app store. I'm fairly technically inclined and it took me a while to figure out how to get it to work.

This is a great laptop. The keyboard fits my hands very well and the screen is a good size. Plenty of memory and it is very fast. I purchased it in order to participate in Zoom meetings and it is perfect for that. I don’t anticipate having to replace it for a number of years.

So far, 2 weeks later, all is well. Works fine. No issues to date. The real question is whether the computer will hold up very well after a month. You only get 2 weeks to try it and return it. So, a TWO WEEK review is not much good IF the laptop fails in a month. But, no issues so far. Seems good!

I have used Hewlett Packer computers for many years now and find them easy to use. I am not of the electronic generation, so I need to have things easy. This time I kept things simple by having the Geeks transfer everything from my old computer to my new one so the transition was very smooth.

This is a great laptop!! I purchased a laptop for myself and then I went on to purchase one for my oldest daughter when she started college a few months later. My two younger children started college this year, so I purchased each of them one as well. I promise you will not be disappointed!

We really like the computer. Very easy to use. Just wish that programs on the computer at the time of purchase were useable. Like Word. I was disappointed that I have to buy a subscription. Wish one could just use without having to purchase the program on top of the computer cost.

Bought this quick as my laptop fried and I needed one for working at home. Have had great results so far and no issues with overheating as other reviews have said. Would recommend to anyone looking for a basic, nothing fancy laptop.

I was in the market for a new computer and wanted a Hp. It was in the price range that I was looking for. I checked the reviews, both good and bad. I felt this would be perfect for me. I need something that would be good for school and if I needed to work from home it would do the job.

I like the following features about this laptop: * The battery life allows me more time to work in different places in my house without having the cord. * The features of this computer are great for working from home. * It is so lightweight that makes it easy for traveling.

Perfect everything I expected, and the purchase was hassle free. I choose to pick it up curbside and I didn’t have to wait no more than ten minutes once I emailed Best Buy to tell them I had arrived. Overall I am very pleased with my new laptop it is very helpful for what I do.

I liked everything about my purchase. It made my very happy to have a brand new laptop. The salesperson was very helpful and directed me to the one that would fit my budget and what was good for my wife. She loves it very easy to operate. I will continue to shop at Best Buy.

This machine is a beast. As a student, it has met my expectations. As a photographer and audio engineer, it has really exceeded my expectations. Starts up as fast as a MacBook and reliability is unwavering. I've paired it with trend micro security and it's been great.

In the small amount of time that I’ve used it so far, I’m happy with my purchase. This laptop has all of the features that I was looking for and more. Unlike the desktop computer I share with my husband, I can use the laptop anywhere in our home. I’m very happy with my purchase.

before I bought this laptop the sales guy said most all laptops had the backlit keyboard. I wanted to see one but there was not one on the bench. the video camera does not have a very high resolution but it all works. except for the keyboard not lit and the video resolution this laptop is good for college
