Why a minimum of 50 characters? It is a lap top like any other lap top just like in the '60s a car was a car unless you were a greaser. I was not a greaser and I am not a nerd.

Came when they said it would and works great! The plastic cover around the keyboard seems a little cheap, but otherwise no complaints at all about this laptop.

Underrated product! Works very fine, and the core chip that it contains will help it last long if used right. Highly recommend for casual users and students!

On the positive side, did a test and opened 47 windows at once and they loaded within 15 seconds without taxing the memory. Also, Windows Task Manager had the RAM at 13 GB. Was concerned that the touch screen might eat up RAM but the baseline use was comparable to my other laptops. Windows makes it pretty easy to switch off the S mode: just try and install something like Chrome and it tells you how. On the--very significant--negative, as some reviewers have pointed out, the screen is washed out color wise starting from the sign in screen. The resolution is def not high def, and the viewing angle very limited both in the horizontal and the vertical. Don't know whether is is a common manufacturing defect since some reviewers here write that the screen is good. In addition, while the keyboard has a good feel, the letters are printed on in a font whose lines are very thin, so it's a challenge to make them out.

I'm not usually a fan of HP computers, But this starts up quickly compared to my other laptops. I would recomment for anyone starting out for a first time computer.

Laptop is lightweight, easy to use. Good on memory. The back-lit keyboard makes keys easy to see. Finger print scanner makes it easy to log in. Great product.

This is a great mid-range laptop. It is fast enough to do what I need (surf the internet, watch Netflix, etc.) I like that it is touchscreen and has a num pad.

Does everything I need it to do. I'm not a tech guy but this was pretty straight forward as far as getting started. Would recommend this computer.

Purchased two of these for my business for remote workers. They were very simple to set up. My employees were able to log in remotely with ease. Good value!

It does everything than the similar prior models. Only thing it is lighter (good) but the plastic seems more fragile than before.( but not a big deal for home or office use

My work laptop is a Surface Laptop II so when it came time to get a new personal computer, it wasn't a hard decision. Very slim and functional and light.
