The touchpad has a big problem. There is a dot in the screen that is defective and works like a finger touching the screen and make the page to be changing from one place to other. I have to touch with my finger over that point and pull the point to any other place on the screen and release to eliminate the problem. But it is recurrent. This is the worst touchpad screen I ever use and I will not buy any other HP with touch screen ever. I tried to made the warranty effective and it was more than impossible mission. Do not recommend this at all. And if you buy one, buy also the squad geek support or you will lament not to get it for long time.

On a scale of 1-10 I would rate this laptop a 6-7.

HAD JUST OVER A YEAR AND THE TOP IS SEPARATING FROM THE BOTTOM. JUST USED BY AN ADULT WHO IS CAREFUL ABOUT OPENEING AND CLOSING IT.

Don't buy this laptop if you need to store more than 2 files on it!!!

Just took it out of the box and it’s slower than the one I’m replacing it with.

Had to take it back. Was frozen out of the box in the first 5 minutes of use. Had problems with every HP computer I've owned.

Unfortunately for me this laptop was a total disappointment. From the beginning I had to take it in for service and will take it in for the third time. I have had HP products before and have been happy with them. I am very frustrated with this one.

I'm certainly no expert on what makes a computer good or bad. This laptop though is extremely fast (20 seconds from turn on to being online). The touch screen is responsive and looks great. I haven't noticed any fan noise or heat like some other reviewers. The computer itself is visually pleasing and lightweight. All in all, the best laptop I've owned by far. Nice job HP!

I have almost 5 years using this laptop to study and work with no issues at all. Highly recommended.

The laptop is lightweight and very fast. The SSD cuts boot and load times down significantly. Completely worth the money.

Best Buy does not post bad reviews but just in case this one gets past security. I purchased this laptop new from Palm Beach Gardens Best Buy. It is very loud. "Fan motor" The enter button on the mouse pad collapsed within 2 months. This was a replacement for the HP that the screen fell apart on me. I guess I am the fool for purchasing another HP
