Only two complaints... 1) it took over a day to get out of S-Mode - had to do an extra Microsoft update before I could run the remove S-mode "update" - not sure why... and 2) sound is slightly tinny when using the included speaker which I rarely use as I use the HDMI to connect to a TV as an extended screen using the TV's speakers. Overall a good laptop for a decent price (was on sale.)

Performs well for a mid-range priced machine

I honestly thought I had put the one above it in the search results but I'm pretty satisfied with what I bought. The sticker on the laptop says all day battery, but it didn't last more than 5 hours for me and I was just surfing the internet. It also doesn't come with a pen and is not a 2-in-1. But that's okay, it was reasonably priced so I bought a tablet as well. I have never had an HP computer before, but I have no major complaints.

Not a happy camper

This newer version definitely feels cheaper than before, i.e keyboard and overall flimsy. It is always running hot and the fan runs all the time. The battery life is short and it is difficult to bring back after its been asleep even after changing the settings.
