Really wanted to like this thing to be used for a new college undergraduate. Likes: Very well spec'd for the price. Nice Display Touch Screen Dislikes: Keyboard is flimsy plastic and deliver zero confidence that it will last more than 6 months of heavy use. It's almost a child's toy. Battery life is terrible. 3-4 hours max, with almost no activity. Twice so far, this thing has rendered itself completely dead, with the only resolution being to stand on the power button for over 40 seconds until it decides to boot up. WiFi and all connectivity menus just simply 'disappear' at random times. As if the radios have just simply been removed. No amount of shutdown and restarts brings them back, it just decides to show WiFi back in the menus again, at will. Absolute dealbreaker for a college student to have to deal with this on campus. Just overall flimsy feel and it's ashame HP has gone this route. I'm happy to be in the return window, and nothing says you get what you pay for better than this laptop. So long HP, it's been nice trying to get to know you.

The product is an excellent computer for our HS daughter! But the shipping could have been more efficient, wasn’t in stock initially but ended up getting some in before the delivery date. I asked if I could just get one of those, and they said originally wasn’t possible, but after taking to several CSR’s, they made it happen

its awful! makes a lot of noise and gets really hot without even starting to use for hours. I will not recommend it to anyone

Too bad for its price when I brought 2 yrs back, in just 3 months of use, a small amount of rain water went in that too it was inside bag and it was totally damaged, it didn't turned on after that, sent it to HP care because it was in warranty only to learn that they don't cover liquid damage, i felt completely cheated for my 700 bucks. I will never go for HP laptop ever again
