love the laptop it is not fast i was hoping for but it is what is it

It’s a great computer, fast and good battery life.

Ended up returning it. Flimsy screen, poor color, "faded" appearance. I tried this one as a backup to my existing ASUS, but ended up returning it. Was going to upgrade the SSD to a 1TB, but glad I didn't. It's the second HP I've returned in the last decade, due in large part to the anemic, washed out screen. No vibrant colors, no sharp resolution. And, I noticed if I (very, very carefully) brought the top 2 corners towards me, there was a pronounced bend in the laptop screen. Returned and spent way more than I intended on an ASUS with a vibrant screen and 1 TB hard drive.

Great lab top but better when using a mouse nice touch

Love that the screen seems bigger with the slim border.

I have enjoyed this laptop. I’m not a fan of windows.

So far i am torn about this computer. I only use it for work and some light personal things like checking emails, going on LinkedIn and browsing. I have had it for one month and HP Support found that i need a battery replaced, when im typing the keys don't keep up so there are times when i type out a full sentence and it takes time until it all appears on screen and the fan is super loud and goes on quite often. I do like the keyboard and that it has the numbers on the side. So far on Zoom or Google Meet calls for work the sound and video have been great. It is very lightweight and i like the bigger screen so i don't need an external monitor for work.

There is no backlight to show the light colored keyboard. Cursor goes all over the place and hard to see where its located sometimes. It is so very unproductive, one accidental hit on the left corner, Microsoft shows up. You place the cursor and it types somewhere else.

Too bad for its price when I brought 2 yrs back, in just 3 months of use, a small amount of rain water went in that too it was inside bag and it was totally damaged, it didn't turned on after that, sent it to HP care because it was in warranty only to learn that they don't cover liquid damage, i felt completely cheated for my 700 bucks. I will never go for HP laptop ever again

The silver keyboard is a big problem. Not only are the keys silver, but the text on top of them is even lighter! The keyboard is not backlit, so you must use it only in great-lighting situations. I purchased this online after reading the great reviews. I am shocked that no one mentioned this issue. I use the computer in areas without direct or low lighting, making the keyboard impossible to use.

It is slower than my 2015 HP Pavillion Core I5 8th gen, 128gb ssd. Fans come on all the time and stall it out. I stopped running or deleted all the add ons at start up that it comes with and it still struggles. Get something else. I only use it to run microsoft office and microsoft teams webinars. Very diappointed. I would have just removed everything off my old laptop and started fresh if I knew a brand new model was going to be worse and slower. Would have taken the chance on it breaking. Bad buy. Screen has issues in dual screen mode thru HDMI. It has blurred spots in many areas and doesn't react well..always stops in the middle of my typing. It's quite annoying. Wish I could return it still.

The major issue I have with this laptop is the battery. It says it should hold an all day battery use but not even 2-3 hours in, the battery needs to be recharged and I’m only using it to type and study. My older laptop holds a better battery than this.

Well, I purchased this new Windows 11 from HP because my old Windows 7 was no longer (for several years) being maintained and updated from Microsoft. Plus, after delaying for several years, I was hacked into and wanted to hopefully end my problems with the old Lenovo.

Paid a full price for new laptop and Bestbuy is giving a refurbished laptop. I have purchased in september 2023 and there are folders "Recovery" dated back in July 2023 and "PerfLogs" folder back in May. I was happy that I got a good deal but now I know what Bestbuy is internally doing. Bestbuy is ruining it's brand by being double standard.
