    This machine is awful. Two issues: Wouldn’t stay connected to WiFi, and the display isn’t fantastic (reds are more maroon). With regard to WiFi I did some googling, and it has the Realtek 8821CE chip. This thing is positively PLAGUED with problems and has been for a long time (google it). HP made a bad decision to use this chip despite a long history of issues (chip shortage maybe? It’s obviously available). Worse yet it uses a 1x1 configuration which has a single antenna and greatly limits speed. Not what I’d expect from HP and certainly not in any laptop over $350, particularly any i7 16GB model. This was intended for a non technical user and with its WiFi disconnects/refusal to connect, isn’t going to cut it. Returning. :(

    Extremely unsatisfied within two days the geek squad told me the motherboard was fried not have a replacement in stock. New one is late on delivery.
