I purchased this laptop with a bit of hesitation after a previous failed experience with HP. As a Navy IT, I knew the specs were weak, but I needed something that was very basic to be able to use word processing and simple browsing. After a stressful start up process, I had to remove an absurd amount of unnecessary programs just to be able to operate the machine. After an ample amount of frustration, I returned the comp the next day and have since replaced it with the Dell Inspiron at best buy for 399. Couldn't be happier.

I bought this laptop on a Thursday and by the next Thursday the wifi didn't work, kept getting viruses, the screen wouldn't turn on, pop ups kept coming up. When I went to return it they told me that the bundle laptops are expected to do that!

I bought this computer to replace the one I had that ran on Windows XP. Took some getting use to using Windows 8. Overall it's a nice computer and does all I need. Traded in my old XP computer and Bestbuy gave me $100 toward the new one. Cost me $229 and I couldn't be happier.
