Could not find the power button wish it was touch screen

Great everyday laptop with a large screen Solid performance for daily tasks like browsing, streaming, office work, and light multitasking. The Ryzen 5 7520U is fast and efficient, the SSD makes everything feel responsive, and the 17.3” Full HD screen is excellent for productivity and media. Battery life is good for its size, and the laptop runs quietly. Overall, a very good value for anyone looking for a reliable large-screen laptop. If you want a more casual, more technical, or more enthusiastic tone, I can tweak it instantly.

I purchased this as an affordable replacement for my mother as her old laptop couldn't support Windows 11 and was getting slow after about a decade of service. I'm typically not a huge HP fan, but this was on sale and in stock. All she uses it for is basic web browsing, email, and the occasional video streaming. For that, it works OK. If you have multiple programs or tabs open it does get a bit laggy. It can stream YouTube at 1080P smoothly, as long as you aren't doing anything else. If you have something else running in the background, you have to drop YouTube videos down to 720P or below or it will drop frames. Build quality for a low priced consumer grade laptop is OK. The battery life is good. I like that it uses a barrel connector/DC jack for charging, as those seem to hold up better and last longer than laptops that can only charge via USB-C. The cooling system seems decent. Even under load, the fan is barely audible, and the computer never gets hot to the touch. The only thing we wish it had was a backlit keyboard. I would have been OK with a $10 price increase to cover a feature that probably costs $1 or less to implement. The 512GB SSD is plenty spacious for the price. However, I believe the RAM on this laptop is soldered and can't be upgraded, so too bad if you want to upgrade it to 16GB down the road, which we probably would have done in a few years. In terms of bloatware, it does have some garbage on there from HP. No matter how often I remove the "Dropbox Promotion" it comes back. If I had more time I'd do a clean install of Windows, but for now, it is what it is. Oh, and they included "Omen Gaming Hub". What a joke, the only game you're running on here is maybe solitaire. At the end of the day, this is cheap basic laptop. As long as it lasts at least 5 years of basic usage, I will be happy.

I picked up this laptop at Best Buy recently, and so far it’s been a really solid purchase. It handles everyday stuff like streaming, browsing, and work tasks without any issues. It starts up fast, runs smooth, and the battery life has been better than I expected. The screen looks great, especially for movies and videos, and the keyboard feels comfortable to type on. I also appreciate that it stays pretty quiet even when I’m running multiple apps. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the speakers could be a little louder, and I wish the charging cable was a bit longer — but those are small things and haven’t really taken away from the overall experience. Overall, super happy with it. Definitely feels like I got my money’s worth.

This is my 5th HP laptop. I am retired and use it for the internet, shopping, finances and email. Just perfect for my needs. Large very clear display. As fast as I would ever need. I have found HP computers to be totally reliable. I have never had one quit on me. I just buy one occasionally to update to a little newer tech. This one is as reliable as the others I have owned. Quick setup without a lot of garbage software. Reasonable battery life. About 7 hours is average for my use. None that I have owned were equipped with ultra long-life batteries. That is OK with me. I will take the reliability over long battery life.

Seems like a solid laptop so far, handles my needs perfectly. I like the larger screen and keyboard size - (old eyes). Lightweight and the battery lasts long.

I setup four of these for friends over the last couple of months. They are great machines with a nice size that don't weigh too much for daily mobility. They are fast and have plenty of processing power.

Great laptop. The display is so clear and bright. I love it immensely the battery life is great but it I expected it to last a little longer. this bit 17+ screen is the best I would recommend this laptop for everyone. The speed is incredible. I just may have to buy another one.

I recently bought an HP laptop and honestly, I love it. It’s fast, reliable, and handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far without slowing down. I needed a new Laptop so I bought the HP. I love this laptop works great no issues. Got it as an open item, cheaper just like a new item. Speed, and battery life is great. I love HP they are great no problems they last me for years.

Hp dazzles again. Great, fast and reliable laptop. Starts up quick and is ready for whatever you can throw at it. Multiple windows can be open and no hangups. Very pleased and the larger screen really helps.

We bought this laptop to do mostly two things. Pay bills and do some shopping. Computer is fast and very easy to set up and operate. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't used it enough to give a really good revo.

Solid laptop over all. Good specs, great speed. Perfect for light gaming or even running Fortnite on medium settings. Have two of these in use as an office work from home PC's. Large monitor is nice also.

After 9 years, I was in the market for a new laptop and this one has blown me away. Streaming quality is phenomenal, editing pictures feels like a breeze, typing manuscripts is comfortable. The screen size is perfect. The speakers crackle, but a Google search showed HP is aware and on it.

Great deal! Affordable laptop with some nice features. Large screen is nice, sleek design, AMD processors is really fast, definitely as good as intel (or even better)! Quick and easy setup, great battery life!

Great laptop! It was easy to set up and the sales associate at Best Buy was super helpful. It is a bigger laptop but i am old school and thats not a problem. It boots up fast and holds a charge for a while. Very happy with this purchase!

My 2nd HP laptop. This is a basic laptop but works for my needs perfectly. The price was reasonable and setup was easy. And you can see the keyboard layout much more easily than my old one so that is a plus. And it has the same size screen with less space and it's light weight. A good solid basi laptop for the budget minded that gets the job done.

I have had this laptop for about a month now. It is fantastic. Great speed and clarity, and the huge screen I have been dreaming of for a while. I don't do any gaming - so cannot comment on that. I have not experienced any issues with this computer,

These are great basic machines with ample memory, disk and a great 17 inch high def screen. The boot speed on Windows 11 and these machines is super fast. My wife and I are not gamers so that will never happen on these laptops. We actually purchased two - one for her and one for me, Setup was easy and we disabled McAfee and turned on Windows Defender to make life simpler. Again - these are beautiful, basic laptops for anyone who just uses their machines for email, shopping, reading the news, etc.
