Nice balance of performance and price point. Price match for a sale at Bestbuy a week after purchse was a simple online chat. Recommend.

Consistent with my old reliable favorite

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my 8-year-old HP Envy when support for Windiows 10 was ending, the laptop wasn't upgradable, and I was on the verge of needing to replace the battery yet again. My new laptop feels pretty much the same as the old one. I love the solid state drive--SO much faster response than my old one. I like that it is slightly lighter in weight, but I miss having a built-in DVD player and SD card reader. At least I can still access those on my old laptop. I hope the new one will have better battery life and/or ventilation, but I won't know that for a while.
