I have had this laptop for about a week now. The fan sounds like my old laptop that hit the dust. I also noticed that the screen went black (Like a blink of the eye) at least 2 times already.. I am NOT impressed and as of now I am going so far as to say--- No more HP laptops for me!

I am a big fan of HP Laptops, but this model is all around slow. It does not change my opinion of HP, but next time I will opt to spend more in order to get the speed that is necessary for most applications.

Soooo slow. Absolutely the worst HP we've had out of many. We went to this budget unit to replace our HP tower. You definitely get what you pay for. Could be the hard drive instead of solid state, could be the processor, but it wakes up slow, opens slow, programs open slow. It's literally painful. Don't waste your money.

Very frustrated with this purchase....no exaggeration, laptop takes 20 minutes to boot up. I have had it rebuilt from the OS up twice...no improvement. I decided to leave this review as I am considering replacing it and wanted to see how long I have had it...only to find it has only been two years!

Don't waste your time. The AMD processor is very slow compared to Intel. Startup issues every day. 2 stars.

SO SLOW even when going through my files on the hard drive. Goggle Chrome and Firefox take forever to load. Internet is not a problem, I watch Netflix all the time on my TV. The computer is extremely poor quality despite the processor. You can't even change the scroll from inverted to normal up/down motion. Super UPSET that I purchased this.

It’s not worth the price. For being a new laptop it runs slower than I expected

I bought it and was really happy with it for a while. Then I had to send it to HP for repair. OK. Took a week. Now I've had to send it back and they're saying its going to be over a month due to a parts shortage. Not happy now thinking I bought a piece of junk.

Had the computer for less than weeks and it quit working. It gave me an error message that said there was no hard drive.

Very slow. Screen would go white, then black before loading content when scrolling down a page. Highly annoying.

I return it due to poor quality. This should not be bought.

I love this computer. It's fast when I'm playing games and the keyboard size is great. I like having a full numbers keypad on the side. I'm just sad that a daycare baby broke my headphones off in the jack so I HAVE to use wireless sound.

I purchased this laptop over four years ago and throughout the years it has served me well regardless of the purpose I was using it for. Whether I was doing some high intensity gaming or using it to work in Microsoft Office it ran well and got the job done. Even after multiple drops and spills it still runs well.

Great laptop. It runs fairly quiet, even with a hard drive. nice large screen, with great visuals.

Fabulous laptop for gaming and for just doing your bills and going on the Internet

It was a great buy. Well worth the money and lasted a very long time

So far, best laptop I've owned. It's not used a lot, but is a great backup when and if my desktop breaks down.

Initially this laptop was working wonderfully however it seems with every update to any of the software it randomly shuts off, screen goes black, freezes etc. to the point where it’s unusable now.
