Maybe it is because I have dropped it once from a short distance or a virus, but I have had to replace the hard drive. Other than that it runs fairly smooth.

Slower than death

I went for a cheap laptop and got what I paid for. This thing is so slow starting up, it's painful. I had HP tech support look it over and was told it's fine. Really! My main computer is a desktop by HP, with an i-7 processor. It screams. So if you want a cheap laptop that seems to work fine 30-45 minutes after starting up. This will work for you.

TROUBLE SETTING UP EMAIL

Instead, it had a 7th gen processor. There is a major difference in performance between these processors. I returned it. The posting has since been changed to reflect the actual hardware.
