This laptop is like my minivan: big (17.3"screen), holds a ton (1TB hard drive), has a DVD player (DVD RW), and possesses the speed to get my family where we need to go (general uses). Unlike my van, it seems light (5.4 lbs) for its size and equipment (DVD RW), and it is quieter than my old laptop (low fan noise). After one week of use, I'm very happy with it, though I haven't tested all of its functions yet. Be aware that it lacks some frills that help account for its lower price. The sound quality is slightly tinny. The case and keys are made of cheaper plastic. The keyboard is not backlit, and there are no lights anywhere on this laptop besides the screen and the caps lock key. It has no laptop cover latch, and you have to open it with two hands to keep the keyboard/base from rising up with the screen. But I bought this during a Black Friday preview sale, and would do so again.

Can't really say if this is good or not because it didn't work once we turned it on.

I am disabled and in a wheel chair due to rheumatoid arthritis. This laptop is too heavy for me to lift. The keyboard is off center which makes it difficult to type for more than about 10 minutes. I didn't notice when I made the purchase that there is no disc drive.

Light weight and full keypad are huge pluses. The CD drive feels flexible so dont lift with only one hand.

The number keys stick. I have a problem with word excel drop box

I Bought an opened box product. It should be fine for personal use. Salesman was very helpful.

This was a very simple purchase for regular internet browsing. No cd/dvd player.

Bought laptop,died within a week during HP update, sent to HP for repair after paying extra for 2 day shipping I am told it will be almost a month before parts are available to fix and send back. I will never buy or recommend HP to anyone.

IT'S A GOOD COMPUTER FOR DOING BASIC STUFF SURK WEB PAY BILLS

Since the hinges broke the Geek Squad will not repair a software issue that keeps sending the computer to blue screen. The case is junk.

The mouse is delayed in movement in playing Microsoft games.

Have had one problem after another since I received this computer. Slow, cover is cheap plastic and it crashed yesterday. Cannot even get on line. Just a black screen.

Bought it for my dad. Upgrading is a pain in the butt.

Using windows 10. Had problems with Wi-Fi since automatic update. Since update neither one of my Wi-Fi accounts work i.e., Won't recognize. Windows 10 created a new a Wi-Fi account and named. This is only Wi-Fi my computer will recognize now. I feel my privacy has been compromised.

Very slow response. Takes 3 sec approximately to open an image file.

Not impressed due to performance and all of the junk that is installed into the system!

The laptop just ”stopped” working. In a blink it was DONE! I have tried to get help via Best Buy with zero help. It died while I was writing an email. I mainly use to upload pictures from my personal camera. Date of death May, 2020 Bought Dec, 2018

I was not happy with this overall. Felt it was very slow

I returned this laptop after spending a great deal of time trying to fine tune it. My 8 year old version of the same device outperformed it in every way. Incredibly slow and difficult to use.
