I've never had an HP before, so there are several things to get used to. The biggest is the scroll is backwards to what I'm used to and it's not along the side of the pad. You have to use two fingers anywhere on the pad and it's a bad angle for that. Otherwise, so far I'm happy with it. It's very fast, there's nothing getting warm/hot, it has GREAT sound.

Just got this yesterday. Im not a computer geek but with the voice commands etc I was able to set it up get all i needed installed so im very pleased. The salesperson was great, the price all good !! Way faster than my 8 years old one !!!!!

Very big and bright screen, descent sound and fast when surfing. Good keyboard feel, touchpad works well for me.

Great lightweight and speedy machine. Webcam is a little dark, but overall fine. Runs PDFs, Screen-Sharing, and web browsing all at once well. Great machine for the price!

This laptop works very well for the price unfortunately I had to return mine because the camera was not working properly, other than that very nice.

Laptop is 4 months old. Yesterday it notified me it had low power. Didn't plug it in to charge right away. Screen went totally black. Plugged it in to charge for 8 hours and screen is still black. Computer is running though. Have not dropped it or bounced it.. Now I need to take a trip to where I bought it. I have not seen similar reviews. Maybe it is just a lemon.

Great product for traveling - perfect size and weight

Very slow from nearly the beginning. It frequently bugs and goes so slow you have to re-start it to be able to use. Now the plastic screen hinge came off after normal use (I am very careful) and it is almost useless. STAY AWAY.

Very slow for an i5. The only selling point for me was it had a real hard drive not one of those flash drives where the OS eats up most of the space and leaves you nothing to install your own software. The biggest problem was it kept rejecting every single program I installed including Office 365. This laptop has an internal DVD drive, but it was broken and I had trouble getting it to open even when I held the button for a couple of minutes. I'm about to give up on HP products. Every single HP computer I have purchased was garbage. My HP ENVY that I bought in Dec 2016 broke six months later so I refuse to buy another computer over $1,000 from HP. Their computers are not as good as they used to be.

I have always bought HP computer until now. I bought this exact computer 6 months ago and it complete crashed. 6 months ago. I am a student and was very very disappointed when a 6 month old brand new computer crashes. The hard drive should never fail that quick. VERY disappointed and will never buy HP again. Save your money and buy a MAC. When I sent my computer in I was never asked if I would like a refund or a new computer. Again all students, DO NOT BUY HP!
