Disappointed by HP and Microsoft

I was told to buy a Mac but did not want to relearn a new system. In the first hour I noticed the mouse pad is left justified. why? I dont get it? What I DO get is awful pain in my hand because of awkward position... When i tap the mouse pad it sounds like a tin pan on a scare crow reverberating like a snare drum. What is up with Windows 10? It looks like a Fischer Price toy! Totally have to learn a new system! I haven't yet found any improvement, just idiotic clusters of things that do not make sense. Should have gone with a Mac... same Learning curve. Called Best Buy and shame on me for trying to work this out. I called on day 26 and only had 16 days to return.
