I was not impressed by this laptop. Yes the size of the screen was nice but laptops should not be that big IMO. Also the HDD is rather slow in this model. The processor was fast but I feel like it is a waste next to a subpar hard drive backing it. The i5 shines on a SSD setup. Unless you plan to upgrade the HDD to a SSD don't bother. This laptop also does not have a M.2 slot available on it like the comparatively priced Lenovo 330s with the i5 gen 8 in it with a SSD. only real upside here was the DVD drive which the lenovo i ended up going with does not have but no huge loss.

The computer and keyboard are nice, but it's much slower than I thought it would be for the price, size, and amount of memory it has

I needed a computer quick for my dj business, so i gave it a shot. Kind of slow and i noticed it works more efficiently when i shutdown at night. Been using everyday.

It’s a horrible piece of hardware. Slow, unreliable, and a pain to charge since this to is slow. The large screen was the point of buying and the only upside. Be warned don’t waste your money on this buy the smaller screen.

It’s not your fault I hate changing computers. The processor seems to be much slower than my old one. I didn’t purchase a touch screen which I’m used to.

I have owned HP laptops for several years and always been very pleased. I bought this laptop to have a bigger screen to work multiple programs, it hangs up and freezes all the time, my old HP from about 8 yrs ago with less RAM and slower processor almost twice as fast. Wish I trusted my gut and returned it instead of hoping it would be ok. Will go back to Microsoft surface.

So so runs very slow. Comcast is of no help to me to get faster wifi, only running off of 2.4g too slow should be running off of 5g!

Just to buy for me and to me it felt cheap as I’ve mostly gotten used to Apple quality in everything electronics now days

It’s too slow for the price to be honest. The touchscreen is very nice but it’s very sluggish.

Great computer for someone who just needs to do basic things like browse the internet, listen to music, print, etc.

I purchased a new HP laptop and was told by the geek that my files could be transferred. When I picked up my new laptop I was told that the FTW program could not be transferred and that I would have to install it before I could use the program. I got in touch with the manufacturer and after two hours on chat with their tech I was told that my program for the file was no longer produced and that I would have to get the new program. I ordered it and it was downloaded to my laptop. The new program would not receive the old files, so that meant that I lost the most important files that I wanted transferred When I called the geek squad at the Lexington store, they said we do not know how to fix the problem and gave me an 800 number to call. They told me I could not transfer the files because the program was too old. I am very disappointed with the geek squad at the Lexington, SC store for after telling me they could transfer my program, they said the did not know how to do it. As a result of their action I have lost two years if input into my old laptop.

Bought this for simple small business use. I haven't had any problems with it and it works great.

Definitely not as fast as I thought it should be thought it would be a better quality from HP

Maybe the last notebook with 1 Tb Hard drive. The screen is hard to open and close. Complete keyboard

Over all I really like my new computer. I brought a Window 10 for Dummies but I haven't look at it.

First this computer has worked pretty good for the past year. Almost exactly one year in, the screen display is all different colors and lines. I believe it is the display board that needs to be replaced. I will be bringing it to the geek squad to confirm that. Very disappointed I am having issues with it already!
