Like the larger screen. Little warm & battery life seems a little less than advertised.

This replaced my old 17" HP. I've owned it for about three months. Only issue I've had is that it has frozen a few times, but resets fine. Taking it to Geek Squad for a look. Good value and I like the larger screen computers.

When I bought this I knew for a family trip I was taking and wanted something to help keep the kids occupied at the hotels. For this it worked fine and I am very happy with the results, my only negative is the battery life is suspect and needs constant recharging. For what I was using it for (90 minutes a day) it should be able to last more than one day without charging. If you don't mind the weak battery it is a good machine.

Nice laptop for the price, however I am disappointed in the battery life. I cannot keep it off the charger and work on it for more than 90 minutes. I've tried changing my settings and nothing works to improve battery life.

Looking to replace computer that was not secure and couldn't safely handle new programs. This computer is easy to use and is easier to carry around than my old desktop. Holds all my photos and is a great basic replacement.

This is a cute little laptop, very decent, great sound, and easy to use. I am not a fan of how far back the keys are from the end, so have to use a wrist pad. Have not used it for any gaming yet, but it does exactly what I want it to do, it connects to the internet and it creates documents with ease.

This computer runs fast and has great storage space. I haven't had a problem yet.

This HP notebook has the reliability of intel 5 and enough memory to meet my needs. The large screen may be a bit bulky for some people, but I needed to be able to let groups see presentations directly from the laptop. It's a GREAT, practical, reliable computer

Got it on sale and it was a great purchase since I needed a new laptop. It still works after all these years. It's fast, reliable, and the 1 TB HDD helps a lot considering I have music and photos, plus writings all saved on there.

I shopped and looked and compared a lot of laptops before settling on this one and I have not regretted it at all. It does everything I need it to and more. I am about to start my Master's Program and I am confident it will get me through that and beyond.

Great computer. Easy to use. Price comparison this one is not the cheapest but a very good computer for the price. Comes with an operating system only which I like. Doesn't come with a lot of junk like they use to. Easy to download any program you may need.

perfect simple laptop that does everything I needed

A computer with bigger screen and decent ram power to keep you running. I could of used a little more ram but I will be running low key programs so 8 gb ram was enough. I like 12gb or more usually.

I bought my wife a 17 inch HP laptop over six years ago. It has had heavy use the whole time. She still had Windows 7 on it and was reluctant to change to Windows 10. It was a very good computer and we never even had a tune-up on it in six and half years. I decided it was time to upgrade her and bought her this new one. It is also 17 inches and of the same brand. It has more much more memory and seems to have a slighter brighter screen. I checked ratings and it was higher than most laptops. She has used it for three weeks now and she likes it. Changing to Windows 10 wasn't an issue. She got the upgrade and the best part is, I paid slightly less than half of what I paid for the first one.

Have been very happy with the performance of my computer since purchasing.

Laptop works great for basic essentials, e-mail and schooling is all i've used it for. It will not be a go to if you're looking to play games but if you just want it for work or school it's a great investment.

I use my pc for database design and graphics, so I needed something with screen that would not punish my eyes. My only complaint is the the click and right click buttons on the touch pad are loud. I bought a wireless mouse to get around that issue.
