Needed to purchase a new laptop and decided to purchase this model for projects and such. Fast start-up. Definitely better than a previous Asus I purchased. Have owned previous HP products and have never been disappointed.

This has been a great computer. I read a lot of reviews before I made the decision and I have been extremely pleased, The price was great, the computer is much faster than my previous computer, and I have no negative remarks.

replaced another hp 17" laptop that finally stopped working after almost 10 yrs.this computer meets all my needs and was a great value on sale and i"m sure i will enjoy working on this laptop as much as my previous one

I like having the huge screen but there is a huge amount of space between the edge of the keyboard and reaching any keys. It should be fine but it will take some getting used to.

Great lap top for surfing the web and basic computing

For the price of most computers that come with a GTX 960m, this laptop has the GTX 1050, which normally in a laptop will not run laps around the GTX 960m or the GTX 965, instead of being the standard 2GB version, this Best Buy configuration actually has the rare GTX 1050 4GB on board RAM, letting me play most all games at high settings, output 4K video to my TV, handles HDR ... it really is a great deal! Cons: only 1 brightness for backlit keyboard Comes pre-loaded with a lot of bloat-ware Only 8 GB of RAM (can be upgraded to 32 GB) Speaker over-modulation happens at around 80% volume, just not terribly noticeable.

I'm in learning process to use Windows 10 because my older laptop was equipped with Windows Vista, but I'm sure in very short time I will be in tune because it's very friendly.

never had a laptop i use it all the time it has taught me a lot the geek squad is very handy on all aspects of computer knowledge i would recommend anyone to get there support.

Was easy to set up and explain to my parents who ate in their 70's. They have had no complaints and Windows 10 was an upgrade for them and they had no trouble adapting to it

Was looking for a reliable laptop with a large screen and adequate storage capacity. The HP - 17.3" fills my needs perfectly. On top of that it is ENERGY STAR certified.

I wanted a simple PC basically for surfing the internet. This PC is just right for that purpose. I am not a gamer, so I cannot comment on that. I've always purchased HP products and have no complaints with them.

More flimsy than my last HP model. A bit slow but I'm not doing much more than social media, shopping, travel planning, etc. so it's fine for me. Good value for the price.

Great product for a beginner. I've also used my computer for designing basic projects as well. Super easy to use and would be great for a high school student

Getting thing done on this computer is great. It introduces me to things I didn't know existed. The programs and help guides bring me right though things I don't know.

I needed a laptop to run Quicken and Microsoft Office.. I have had no problems.. speed is great.. monitor great for looking at s screen for long periods of time at once.

This computer is a replacement for my old one. It seems to function well and was @ 1/2 the price of my previous HP computer from 2010. I'm happy with it. Does the job.

I have had no complaints with this model of computer - I use it for very basic functions. The product is comfortable, great battery life and very easy to use.

The computer was worked great until the most recent windows 10 upgrade then my Microsoft office quite working and I had to have Microsoft help me get it set back up

I bought this laptop for school and it has been able to perform the tasks I need it to. It starts up quickly, is light enough to throw in my book bag, and has great battery life. Overall I'm satisfied.

The computer is light weight. Typical HP quality which I love. Fast processing so I am able to work from home as needed. It is great for the kids to watch a movie on. The DVD quality is really great.
