This laptop has all my favorite accessories built in - DVD /CD reader and writer, SD card reader for easy file uploads and transfers to and from my computer, 1 TB of memory for pictures galore and a big screen.

HP computers [to me] are a good reliable brand. I bout this computer after a 7 year long use of the HP Pavilion which is still in working order and being used by my younger sibling. This computer has a larger screen than my old computer, more space a more comfortable surface to type, the design I would give it a 9/10. The battery is garbage though. If you use your computer for long period of time this may not be what you are in the market for. I have had the computer less than a month and the battery lasts at max 3 hours. That is with everything on battery saver mode, the screen dimmed, and only one app running at a time. I honestly only take issue with the battery with the computer and find this a let down HP... sad.

Purchased this to replace another HP laptop I had whose fan died. This one is far superior to the one I replaced and is substantially quieter too. Only complaint is that they make it very difficult to upgrade the hard drive and RAM compared to the prior laptop.

Laptop seems ok for what it is. Windows 10 sucks but it's the best version since Vista. Apps are stupid. Would have been nice if the laptop had a movie Maker like the old laptop but no Microsoft essentials and no movie maker. But laptop was good for the price.

Needed a laptop for a project at work. This HP worked great. We were looking for a 17" screen, which is hard to find nowadays for a reasonable price, but ran across this laptop. The BB employee was helpful because they had not even put it out on display yet.

I bought this to replace my older, much slower laptop. The 17" screen is great for streaming movies and live tv without any buffering and the picture is sharp. It doesn't come with all bells and whistles, but at this price point I am happy with this purchase.

I bought the laptop the first week I watched youtube videos nonstop hours after hours every day to check its performance under stressed use. It got a few glitches which it finally recovered from and continued to function properly. I am satisfied with it.

Love the portability of the lap top. The most important part of the buy is the Geek Squad I haven't done much with the computer except run It back and forth to the Geek Squad. I was hacked set up and twice since then. Geek Squad is great--- I am still learning the new and wonderful features of the HP

Works great. Easy to get used to and the graphics appear great to me. Of course bear in mind that I am not into gaming or anything. I mostly use this for looking up patterns for quilts and knitting so graphics don't need to be top of the line. All in all this is a very comfortable computer to use.

This laptop is great for your average at-home user. It has all of the functionality you need for a personal use computer. The only issue I have had is if you are running several programs at once, the processing speed can get a little slowed down.

After using my old laptop of 10 years, I decided it was time to get a new one. So far I really like it, makes wonder why I waited so long. Looking forward to using it a lot. I got this HP because I have an HP desktop and it's been great, looking for the same usefulness in my new HP laptop.

This is a more tha adequate auxillery computer for our office. Would not suggest use as a primary workstation, but great for the manager and other employees to get on internet and work. Not lightning fast, but adequate for its intended purpose.

I've had this laptop for 7 months. Loved it. Easy to use. Then my screen goes blue. Hard drive died. When looking on the net about this I find out that this happens pretty often. Very often. It is still under warranty so Best Buy sent it back and HP will install a new one (which is nice) but I lose all my stuff and have to reinstall everything plus chances are fair that this will happen again. Apparently hard drives crash on HP laptops a lot.

I trust HP and try to select them if they are competitively priced. Found the HP laptop on Best Buy website, met all my requirements and the price was excellent. Went to the store, discussed with the sales person, who confirmed the features. Purchased and was out in under 15 minutes.

I like the computer except for the fact if you leave the pad cursor pointer over delete or over a link it will take action regardless if you wanted to take that action. Other than that I like it and it works well so far.

My daughter needed a laptop that would do a whole range of different things, including streaming light graphics work, and music analysis. She also likes to play computer games. This item fit her needs nicely. A lot of bang for the buck and she's extremely pleased with it.

Computer was at an attractive price at a time when the old one died. Failed to notice that this model is not a touch screen (dead one was) and so I continue to tap the screen and announce IT'S NOT A TOUCH SCREEN. Even my husband who is old school misses that feature.

This was purchased as a replacement for my wife's HP laptop that did a dive off the desk. She says that it is a good replacement and she is happy with it. It's not suitable for anything that is graphic intense like gaming but is fine for normal around the house use.

This product would be good for in the office, home, or on the go. Fast, easy to navigate. I had a problem with cd /dvd holder & would not play. The tray keept poping out on its own ! I returned for a different product.

I replaced a computer that was not that functional as the cd/dvd player broke. I only needed the basics and this computer fills the bill since I am not into gaming and generally use it for internet browsing and e-mail.
