Has everything I need. I like that it's not loaded down with with a bunch of trial programs I don't want or need. Windows 10 is different. It took a bit of getting used to, but easy to figure out. First time buying a HP but it's a good laptop for a decent price.

Basically, a fine laptop for the price. Windows 10 is always an initial nightmare to deal with (Win 7 was the best), but I worked around that. The only problem is that the Intel video card has some sort of software problem that prevents it from working properly on some of the audio/video programs I use - the software company that made the program had to come up with a work-around to get the Intel chipset to work (somewhat) on their software - HP and Intel have been told about this for six months and they still haven't come up with a revision! I'm disappointed because I thought Intel and HP were better than that.

This is a nice lap top for the money! I have had no problems so far. Wish it had a light for the number lock and better speakers but for $400.00 it is a bargain.

I love my new laptop - HP ! But some of the features do not work properly and the keyboard is a lot different than my last HP laptop. Overall it is good for home use and all I want to do once the bugs are weeded out.

I have had this laptop for 4 years I never purchase any warranty nor had any problems with it. Up until recently. Its a good laptop for college courses and making youtube videos. Which Is what I used it for mostly

puchased this based on reviews. always like HP products. has all the features I wanted. Only improvement would be that for the price point, it would have been nice to have touch screen. overall, happy with purchase and able to do college classes onlline now.

this laptop is super for basic to intermediate use. the keyboard is very easy and can be used with a light touch. Screen resolution is perfect. I usually use reading glasses for this kind of work but not needed for this laptop. Overall, a great computer.

Brought this for my son. He likes it a lot. It do not have touch screen, which is okay. He did not use on last laptop. And this one the keyboard did not light up. So I bought usb light. For the price good laptop.

Had checked this model on-line at several places and with $100 off sale at Best Buy, no one could touch the price. The huge 17" screen makes it difficult to haul around, but is the perfect desktop replacement.

My first experience with a laptop but when coupled with a mouse I find it very satifying. I'm a bit of a desktop bigit but am enjoying my experience with this laptop. I have a lot of confidence in the HP brand.

As far as I can tell it works well for the exception that I've had to take it back once due to a dead pixel. And now I would take it back except my 14 days was up bc my screen saver keeps saying it has no memory. Uhm it's new how does it not have memory. A little annoying.

Using this PC about a month now. Love it. Good solid machine, great display, responsive keyboard. Only paid $399 for deal of the day. Will definitely recommend. Love Windows 10 as well. Very fast. 7 will seem clunky once you get used to this.

It's missing scrolling capabilities. It would be nice to not have to use the mouse to scroll down the page you are viewing. There should have been scroll capability added where the built in mouse is.

Our computer shut down while on vacation in NC. The Best Buy store helped us choose a new computer and the service and set up was beyond excellence. We were off and running the new computer in less than 3 days. We are home now and it's great!!

I needed an inexpensive computer for basic surfing, bill pay, social networking and emails, This fits the bill perfectly. I've had it about a month and the speed has been more than adequate for my needs. Perfect investment for a basic user.

We compared prices of what we wanted in a computer and this was the best deal. I took my computer expert with me and we were both satisfied. Have had it now a couple months and everything is A OK.

With the I5 processor and 1 TB hard drive this laptop is better than many desktops computers I have owned. I also had my wife buy one. We both use them when we are wintering in Arizona. With Windows 10 they update themselves if turned on .

I purchased this laptop as a possible replacement for my current one which is getting older and slowing a bit. HP is not my first choice for anything but it's okay and will serve it's purpose

It’s good, was the latest configuration when we bought it. I am writing the review after 2 years. Now it’s ain’t great, system slowed up. But that has to be expected.

THIS IS THE THIRD 17" LAPTOP I HAVE PURCHASED FROM BEST BUY, EACH A DIFFERENT BRAND BUT ALL OF GOOD QUALITY FOR MY LEVEL OF USE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE PRODUCT TO A FRIEND OR STRANGER, IF ASKED.
