Am I wowed? No, but for what it is, which is a very reasonably priced unit, it works quite nicely. Solid enough, seems to run pretty fast, and I'll likely get more than a few years out of it.

The screen has nice resolution and the keyboard is decent I guess. The touch pad is disappointing on it and the battery life is not impressive.

This is my first try at laptop after using desktops for past 33 years. Screen clarity is good, keyboard takes a little getting use to, speedhas improved with the access of a newer router.

I got this computer about a month ago. It works great! Large, clear display. Keys are soft. Good memory space. It's just what I needed. I use it a lot for school and to work on music ( instruments). it can even handle games

Very happy with my choice of laptop. So tired of small screens, so a 17"is terrific. And having more memory, etc. was so needed. Hopefully this one will take us down the road further as we are permanent RV'ers. Thank you!

Not a big computer buff. It does what I need. After thought would have bought MAC, only for the perks{no virus automatic upgrades and word}

This laptop is a workhorse. It has all the bells and whistles that I needed and was in my price range. It was important that I have a DVD drive..plus I like a larger screen which this has. All round great laptop

Very pleased with the value for the money, it’s perfect for the light surfer and social media junkie. If you are a gamer you may want to think about a different machine. Overall great value for the price very pleased.

Laptop is feature rich and includes a DVD reader/writer. My only concern was if it would accommodate a wireless keyboard/mouse combo since it doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities, but they paired up with no problems.

This computer was recommended by an associate at the Union City store. I told him I was only going to be using Excel, Word and e-mail. It does everything I need. Also purchased a wireless mouse, keyboard and printer.

HP is reliable, and user friendly.owned other hp products and the result is the same, excellent products! I would recommend HP to all looking for a printer or laptop. I still have a hp 7200 series working printer.

Very pleased with this purchase for my parents who are NOT tech-savvy and do not need all the bells and the whistles. Frustrated though because there's a Windows 10 defect where the IP address is invalidated and connects to WiFi but has no actual Internet connection to load pages. Best Buy has pushed me off to Windows who has also pushed me off and given me a manual fix that requires me to initiate administrator command prompts, enter several lines of code, and force a reset of the IP address connection.

He has been using a laptop that a friend sold him for just a small amount but over time it just hasn't been able to perform the tasks that he has needed to do. This was exactly what he needed.....and wanted....

We needed something simple that was reliable and user friendly. This laptop has been exactly that. Good picture and easy to see.

I use this laptop to stream to my tv in the living room. Its working great and have had no problems with it for every day use. I added a media center remote to make being a couch potatoe even more enjoyable.

The HP - 17.3" Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 1TB HDD is a good machine. I would not recommend traveling with it as it seems fairly flimsy and not very durable.

Really hard to find a 17" laptop for under a grand so to get one that works as well as this is great! Works super fast and handles a ton of activity without slowing down.

I looked for a while for a 17" laptop that still has a DVD drive, at the price I was able to afford, I do have other laptops but I needed one that was light and easy to carry, this fits the bill perfectly,

Overall great system. Large screen and easy set up. Only odd feature is the key board is set a little deep into the base. Not a bad thing but a little ergonomically off.

The batter last about an hour on anything I do on the computer, just browsing or facebooking or even games. I don't understand how anyone could use a laptop for an hour and then have to plug it in, how would you get anything done?
