HP computer is an excellent product! Microsoft 10 tried to restrict my use of non-Microsoft applications

Ending up returning the product. Wasn't what we were looking for when it came to a laptop.

having issues with this lap top, keeps updating every few days! What is that all about?

It’s a common computer not for work. Moves entirely too slow for the legal programs I use.

This is a very basic computer that will meet your needs unless you are going to use the webcam. The web can is grainy and poor quality. We went through 4 computers to get one that met our needs (had to upgrade)

First I have to say the monitor does not have the best color and is very dim even when brightness is at 100%. Second thing I've had it 7 months now and the last few weeks it will freeze and a screen pops up and says there is an issue and the shuts down does this 3-4 times in a row. It is very frustrating!

I've had many lab tops before but this one feels cheap. It's all plastic and clunky. Forget about working at night or in the dark with no back light on the keyboard. Screen has no HD and is not very impressive. It does seem fast but overall it's not a good buy.

It’s an ok laptop. I would recommend to anyone just looking to get some work done.

Upon taking home we found that we could not install any of our programs we have. The sales associate never told us that the laptop had Windows 10 S as an operating, which allows only Microsoft products to be purchased from the Microsoft store on a download. We took the laptop back and the Geek Squad said it would be a 5 minute fix to get the Safe Mode out. We sat their for over an hour when I finally said I don't want it, and return it. They suggested that we just reorder another one. We did and prior to receiving another, we had none research and found this to be nothing we wanted to deal with. So we returned it, not even bothered to open the box. We then went to Staples, the sales person explained what was going on with Windows 10 S and the problem with it. They had a laptop that was just as good and cheaper. Not happen with the people at Best Buy

ok computer..though basic..was hard to set up..zero help from B.B. or H.P....

Average speed and overall performance. Would recommend get the backlight keys

Fine for short term. The bottom base of the laptop completely separated from the top portion. It just pops in and out now. I had to duct tape it in together. Separated just from normal wear and tear over two years.

Just ok disappointed for the price. The mouse is terrible!! Hard to use.

This is going to be a Christmas gift so I can not really comment yet.

I'm having trouble navigating password requests and bypassing ads.

It runs slow sometimes but its ok for browsing and watching videos

This is easily the WORST laptop I’ve ever purchased in my life. About 6 months after I got it, the screen began to detach from the keyboard. The material that encases the keyboard and screen is so thin like brittle plastic. Around the sides of the keyboard and the back where the screen connects started to detach and then eventually came loose all together very quickly. Next thing I knew, my screen was coming completely apart from the rest of the laptop. Unfortunately I did not purchase a warranty so I couldn’t do anything about it. Had a friend in tech look at it and tell me I must as well buy a new laptop by the time someone fixed it. A total sham. Never again.

I only use this computer for Outlook, Office, and very minimal web browsing, and I am not very happy with its performance. It’s had locked up three times. If often freezes for a few seconds during Outlook and/or Office tasks. Very disappointed.
